Well, that is the most likely explanation. Manafort had been under investigation by the FBI for quite some time. I don't see any conflict of interest in the FBI continuing their monitoring of him after he became Trump's campaign manager. Of course, this is assuming a lot as well. It is pointless to speculate until we learn more...

Looking at a timeline, Manafort was part of Trump's campaign for 5 months. He was campaign manager for like two.

This is so true. The inertia of this thread is driven by a select group of posters who devour each new morsel of gossip and each new unproven allegation and speculate the hell out it.

You talk about reason and sticking to the facts and then turn around and say it was done to help Hilary like that is a fact. It's not even logical.

I'll say it again, it is far more probable that a mole was planted because of some reason related to Trump and his associates, than as a way to help Hilary.

If you're right, lock up everyone involved for life. If I'm right, impeach Trump (and maybe lock him and his associates up for life.).

Records show an employee, Frederick Intrater, whose brother Andrew Intrater is the CEO of Columbus Nova, used his company email address to register the web domains, and listed Columbus Nova as the registrant organization, along with the company's address.

Also, theorize all you want, I still find it inappropriate IF it happened. Certain areas should have been off limits knowing the impropriety it represented.

It's complete horse **** for you to excuse the behavior because it was the administration of a Democrat doing it to a Republican. If it was a Republican administration doing it to a Democrat, you'd be in conniptions. To be clear, I'm saying you are allowing political bias to blind you to just how wrong this type of action would be. Well, political bias plus your absolute disdain of all things Trump. It is not okay for either party to engage in such behavior.

If what is speculated by many about Trump is true......you guys have been screaming incessantly that that is a pretty big if.

Let's let the "ifs" be proven. That's all we've wanted from the beginning. Let Mueller's investigation play out and then see the conclusions.

IF other investigations need to take place, great, let them happen and wait for the conclusions.

Who's excusing the behavior? Not me.

I said if it's true and unwarranted and unjustified, lock them all up for life. (that doesn't sound like excusing the behavior to me).

On the other hand, if it's true, and was warranted and justifiable, then so be it. It needed to be done and I'm glad they did it. Impeach Trump and lock him and whoever else is deserving up for life.

Let's see the facts. After all, that's YOUR rallying cry.
