Iran nuclear program. It is a lie

How many American lives are lost in a war against Iran or North Korea?! A lot...

Is it worth that?!

How many lives are lost each year by terrorists financed by Iran? Just ask and they will tell you they want to kill everyone who is not muslim, not shy about it either. Now lets close our eyes to this plague and hope it goes away. Same as NK these regimes are saber rattlers nothing more. Their troops are no better then the Iraq troops. Its all a bluff. Time to call the bluff and apply the toughest sanctions possible.

Ras playing catch up I see.

Let me ask the collective forum a question about atomic/nuclear weapons. Should any country be allowed to develop them that sees fit to? I'm not talking about the US specifically getting involved in trying to stop it, but in the court of world opinion and policy, should any nation that wants them be allowed to withdraw from the non-proliferation treaty if they see fit without any international repercussions?

Sure.
What could possibly go wrong?

Did they hate us before 1953?* Have we given them a reason not to hate us since?

Your theory is faulty.

These are people who believe strapping a bomb to your ass and blowing yourself in public not only gets you to Heaven, but 72 virgins to boot. I'm fairly certain reason is not something they really use. But hey, go on believing what you want. When are you taking that vacation to Tehran again?

Yes.

First off, not gonna contend Trump is trustworthy. But how exactly does bankruptcy equate to not trustworthy?

Only liars and cheats over extend their credit and need to restructure. If only they could print money.

I think it's a legitimate question. I would suppose that would depend on one's thoughts as to whether more nukes would keep the peace better. Even those nuclear armed nations that have armed conflicts tend to not use them. Only used twice and not since.

Forgive me, I've been working all day.

Short answer is yes, they should be allowed.

More detailed answer relies on me clarifying something you posted:

"should any nation that wants them be allowed to withdraw from the non-proliferation treaty"

First off, in order for you to withdraw, you first had to join. I say that because we have nations out here that have signed no non-proliferation agreements, yet still have nukes.

And it's our choice to try to better the relationship or not. Why wouldn't we try to make things better?

Get rid of their wacko religion - particularly the part about it running the state, and you might be surprised how reasonable a place Iran becomes. That won't happen with their religious nut jobs running everything. But it's not our place to make that happen; so until Iranians wake up and revolt, Iran will remain a pariah.
