I noticed that you had to go back and edit the post to which I replied. You said that Nixon was impeached by the House. You were wrong! Why can't you admit it?

The problem is that I was already out of college and watched all of the Watergate hearings. I didn't read about it in a book.. lol.

Out of curiosity what was the final impeachment vote? Asking for a friend.

This situation is no where near the level of bad as Nixon. Neither was Clinton. Clinton was not removed from office after House impeachment due to Senste acquittal. Trump won’t even face House impeachment. Even the lefttard Dim leadership is trying to quash that talk now.

But by all means you guys keep the bucolic rhetoric up. See you in Nov.

Nixon resigned to avoid certain impeachment. My guess is that Trump will do the same. Only it will be greater, and huger, and the best resignation ever.

I agree Nixon did resign to avoid impeachment. And probably coordinated with Ford’s people on the pardon.

There is nothing here near to that level. Not even to Clinton’s level. This goes nowhere.

If by "cornerstone" you mean the over-regulating, pork project loving, spend money we don't have, bloated bureaucracy that we lovingly call the "Federal Government" then by all means, please allow him to continue.

Nope. Until evidence is shown that points to a crime and indictment/impeachment is cleared in the House by definition it has not risen to Clinton’s level. Until then you’re just spewing bucolic speculation and pot stirring. Which, thus far is all you’ve got.

Time to take off for DFW. Bet when I land Trump is still your President Luth. 😬

The only thing Trump will never destroy is his "brand", which in his narcissistic view has always been and remains glorious. When he finally concludes that in fact, that is the very thing he is doing, he will concoct some scheme for resignation that allows him to believe he is going out on top.

Give it a little more time. Clinton wasn't impeached until several years after the investigation officially started. Trump is just coming up on the one year mark.
