John Kelly to the Rams in 6th 176th overall

Wish him the best of luck I think he would’ve been better served staying another season. He was better in 2016 than last season

Like AK, great fit and great offense to be a part of... He will thrive and put up numbers there. Expect a surprising year from him for sure!

He made the right decision. He's an unfortunate casualty of the coaching change; Pruitt likes big backs and Kelly doesn't really fit as well into the Pruitt offensive philosophy. Also, he's a RB, and all RBs have a limited shelf life, so the sooner he starts collecting NFL paychecks, the better.

Now, Kahlil McKenzie on the other hand, absolutely would've been better off staying another year. He'll be lucky to get drafted late, but he could easily move into the top two rounds if he had a breakout Senior season under Pruitt; and he's actually a better fit in the Pruitt defense.

I am interested to see if the Raiders take him at #216. If not, he is probably an undrafted free agent. He definitely should have stayed.

Pruitt is using a pro style offense and nobody coming in would challenge Kelly except Chandler -- he might have benefited from the new offense in the eyes of NFL scouts -- but good luck to him - I think he gets some playing time in LA

Probably one of the steals of the draft but he probably would have benefited from another year. With decent blocking in a good scheme, he'd be among the SEC's highest rushers.

I think his 40 speed at combine hurt him the most... but people play differently when the pads go on.

The good thing for him going to the rams is that he won't get cut anytime soon.

Gurley(4) - Brown (3) - 2 guys (2)- then JK (R)

The "2 guys" didn't even play as rookies last season.

They actually drafted JK which means he's worth more than the other "2 guys" right now.

Kelly isnt on Kamara level. Nowhere near the speed or vision. Also, Gurley is the main bell cow back. In NO, AK is in the perfect situation because Ingram isnt an every down back. Gurley is. Unless Gurley gets injured, JK wont see the field very much.

Kelly will have a nice career if he stays healthy. He doesn’t need to be blinding fast. He has great balance and very quick feet. He is the kind of guy that can get yards on his own by making tacklers wiff in the hole. He’s not Barry Sanders good, but has that lateral hop that makes people miss.

Uhh really? Is that why Pruitt and Fulmer themselves tried to convince Kelly to stay....? Also, KMac is going to the offensive side of the ball, and was asked to stay by Pruitt and Staff as well to play on the O-Line for Tennessee. So.... You might want to look up some stuff before you post next time.... All this stuff is in the media.... Literally all of it.

This makes no sense. If they have two every down backs why would you not split the time? That way they stay fresh the whole game. To suggest Gurley is just going to run the whole game when they can take some carries off of him is silly.
