#BoycottNRA

Why does it matter what people do with their private property? Are they infringing on your property rights, you dirty statist?

He's mad they didn't give it to him instead.

I do think it's quite silly to blow it up or run it over with a vehicle, but that's just me. Not buying any more of their products sends a far stronger statement.

Businesses cancelling orders is an even stronger statement.

Yeti took a beating and now are in backtrack mode.

So, what's the truth here? It sounds like yeti changed some discount programs for several organizations and the NRA is throwing their weight around to bully them.

On a cursory look, that's how it appears to me, and if that's the case I think it's a bad look for the NRA.

I agree, between this and the shenanigans last month - the NRA looks like it's quite comfortable playing the victim. It's probably good for business but a very snowflakey look.

I imagine they'll continue to look to shame anyone who won't or withdraws affiliation with them as un-American

I didn’t look very far into it but I think you and Crush are both correct. It appears to be nothing more than a program change and the NRA decided to make a statement. They had to know people would jump all over it. This looks bad on the NRA IMO.
(He says as he sipped hot coffee from his Yeti thermos)

NRA gathers docs amid scrutiny over ties to Kremlin-linked banker - CNNPolitics

The National Rifle Association is setting aside years of documents related to its interactions with a Kremlin-linked banker, as the gun-rights group appears to be bracing for a possible investigation, according to sources familiar with the situation.

The NRA has faced fresh scrutiny from congressional investigators about its finances and ties to Alexander Torshin, one of the 17 prominent Russian government officials the US Treasury Department recently slapped with sanctions. The gun-rights group has said it is reexamining its relationship with Torshin, who is a lifetime NRA member, in the wake of the sanctions.
The renewed attention has highlighted the close-knit if sometimes uneasy alliance between top NRA officials and Torshin -- a relationship that ensnared members of Trump's team during the presidential campaign, inviting further congressional scrutiny.

Those inquiries could shed light on the tightly held fundraising practices and political activities of the NRA. The political powerhouse shelled out more than $30 million in 2016 to back Donald Trump's candidacy -- more than it spent on 2008 and 2012 political races combined, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

Yeah I’m gonna send them a defense donation in yours and Micks names Luth.

Well if they ask. They probably won’t need the money since they just came off their biggest fund raising month since I can’t remember

They are about to get wrapped up with some shady Russian oligarchs.

I can't wait until they are treated like the terrorist organization they are.

Springfield Armory(R) Severs Ties with... - Springfield Armory | Facebook

Springfield Armory announces its decision in response to Dick’s Sporting Goods’ attempts to deny Second Amendment freedoms

GENESEO, IL, (05/03/18) – Springfield Armory is severing ties with Dick’s Sporting Goods and its subsidiary, Field & Stream, in response to their hiring a group for anti-Second Amendment lobbying.

This latest action follows Dick’s Sporting Goods’ decision to remove and destroy all modern sporting rifles (MSR) from their inventory. In addition, they have denied Second Amendment rights to Americans under the age of 21. We at Springfield Armory believe that all law abiding American citizens of adult age are guaranteed this sacred right under our Constitution.

It is clear where Dick’s Sporting Goods and its subsidiary, Field & Stream, stand on the Second Amendment, and we want to be clear about our message in response. Their position runs counter to what we stand for as a company. At Springfield Armory, we believe in the rights and principles fought for and secured by American patriots and our founding forefathers, without question. We will not accept Dick’s Sporting Goods’ continued attempts to deny Second Amendment freedoms to our fellow Americans.
