I have been saying there are a lot of soft quitters on this team, but everybody rips me for it...but now I guess it's ok?
In light of the conversation during the broadcast I was trying to think of players I think would start for Bama or UGA. I came up with a handful. Not sure all of these would start necessarily as I'm.not super familiar with the other rosters but they would all be valuable pieces and would definitely play.
If you had to choose one to build your team around who would you pick. And did I leave anybody out?
Nigel Warrior
Shy Tuttle
Daniel Bituli
Darrin Kirkland
Jauan Jennings
Ty Chandler
Marquez Callaway
Trey Smith
Actually the correct answer is Trey Smith. So give me your 2nd choice.
I think guys that have a shot to be on this list after next season are
Baylen Buchanan
Osborne
Shamburger
Sapp
Theo Jackson
JJ Peterson
Kyle Phillips
Darrell Taylor
Drew Richmond
Jerome Carvin
Alontae Taylor
Dominick Wood-Anderson
Josh Palmer
Greg Emerson
Emmit Gooden
Who am I missing?
I don't think we are going to have more than a few guys transfer that matters. Maybe less
We will find out soon enough:
Spring exit interviews could lead to Tennessee football transfers | Times Free Press
The only thing it did is make 10% of the fanbase question whether or not they like the guy. Which is a useless thing to do. Especially considered this team is going to have to scratch and claw for a bowl game.
Ill tell you this: hes really getting the benefit of the doubt because Fulmer hired him. If he finished the poor recruiting effort off, made those comments, and was hired by Hamilton, Hart or Currie, the backlash wouldve been much more severe.

As I said before, the honeymoon's over. Clearly fans are waiting and looking for reasons to start the criticism. The only thing it did is make 10% of the fanbase question whether or not they like the guy. Which is a useless thing to do. There's nothing about what he said that fans should be offended by or upset about. It's silly. But that's how we roll. I'm dreading the day something bad happens, like when we get our first lose. It's gonna be ugly.
Not doing the survey. What's it say?
I generally like Greg McIlroy in the announcer's booth, but his quick answer of "none, maybe Trey Smith" was the most homerific BS I've ever heard. Butch's classes as a whole were suspect, but he certainly added top-end guys that had offers from Bama/UGA/FSU/Auburn/etc. and I'm not talking about "uncommitable" offers either.
