It did annoy me that some were latching on to this statement to rehash that old "the fanbase is the problem" saw that the media loves so much, so I thought I'd stick up for us a bit.

I don't think he was upset about not having a hundred thousand. He did say the VOL walk was amazing. He did say that the fans were there were like some of the players--ready to go. Some of the fans had a good excuse not to be out there--like some of the players (Trey Smith for example) Then you had those who could be there but didn't show up because?? Not interested--don't care? Like some players.

None of this is false.

I forsee Pruitt getting real testy with the media when we lose games next year, being the hothead that he is. Won't bother me none, but it probably will other folks. He'll need to be coached up on how to handle the media a little better IMO.

Knoxville Media blow everything out of proportion. Butch Jones was Mr. Salesman and Knoxville Media is one of the reasons that saying like "Champions of Life" got ridiculed, when in reality it wasn't that bad. So, now Pruitt is blunt and says what he thinks. If today is any indication, he just needs to stay away from them as much as possible because the impression I got and what he actually said were two different things.

Wolf. Palmer still needs better route running and still misses catchable balls. Not as bad as last year but still a ways to go. Little Wolf went from walk on/scholarship to "first string". I think that's a huge growth. He's also much bigger than last year

Like I said, it doesn't now and won't bother me in the future. I really enjoy all his press conferences, because he actually talks football and tells you what's up. I also like the fact that a few media members sound a bit intimidated when they ask him questions lol.

I suspect CJP will receive some communications "training" in the off season to prepare him for the future of leading the #1 CFB team in the country for at least the next couple of decades.

Whoever wrote that just drank a gallon of orange Kool-aid. And it was good.

Hey guys...under center...I formation.

You know what else? There were a couple of times when we lined up in the I where we didn't run the ball. I was totally fooled. It was like they were trying to make it harder to tell what the play was.

Whatta relief...

Yep. And it appeared our OL did a much better job run blocking than pass pro as well

I felt like I was in the minority because I really didn't give a $6¡7 about all the goofy stuff Jones said to the media. I feel the same about Pruitt. Just win baby. Wooo!

Palmer actually runs great routes it’s his hands.

About the booms.

Gotta think of what Pruitt said about some players flat out quitting today. Makes me believe he’s getting the right players and not just any kid. Something we’re not used to.

How big of deal it is is up to the individual but he needs to stop it
