I don't really agree with those saying the WRs bailed jg out. They are supposed to make those plays. That is their job and they did well today other than a couple drops. People complained that last season jg held the ball too long probably waiting for receivers to be open and not trusting them enough. Well today he got the ball out much quicker and trusted his receivers even when the coverage was tight. And when he threw into tight coverage it was accurate and placed where the receiver would have the best chance to make the play. He trusted them and they rewarded him by making the play. That seems like a positive to me if you want yer qb to be a playmaker and win games for you.

VQ mods post game podcast praising starting OL, especially Ryan Johnson at Center. But they said Tatum didn’t play well. Austin Price highlighted Carvin at guard, said he did really well especially for a freshman.

Other guys they praised...Callaway, Murphy, Theo Jackson and Warrior.

It was a positive day IMO. The O looked better than expected at every position. The D will have to experience the wrath of CJP for awhile. If they don't get that their intensity needs to match his they will soon be out of there.

We still need help in the secondary. Some of the guys we've seen back there in the past still look like they are running with concrete shoes.

Hyams is such a tool. Easily 60 K there.
