His body language was so bad in those games. I think the 2015 OU game was when I first realized he didn't have what it took to succeed here, but I ignored it and hoped I was wrong. He looked terrified.

Exactly. He looked scared. And he was even worse in the lead-up to the Florida. I remember pointing out his poor body language at the time and was attacked for it.

We all deluded ourselves about him in hopes he could be the guy. We were wrong.

I have an odd feeling Bama takes a step back: 2 or 3 losses, Capital One Bowl. Saban is getting softer and smugger with his Bama cuts show. QB situation sounds a little dicey. Lots of inexperience on defense.

I have the third Saturday in October circled. I have a feeling it will be a good one this year...

He was tighter than Maggie's britches and that ultimately made his team tight. He couldn't swing it in this league, and I think he knew that deep down. So he proceeded to attempt to lower the fan base's expectations.

I would run through a brick wall for that man, I don't mind saying.

I'm so glad Fulmer is back in charge. Say what you will about him his last 5-7 years as a coach (I definitely did), he's a childhood hero of mine and it's so fitting that he got to come back and try to right the ship.

I want the next four years to be enormously successful for him as much as the football team so he can ride off in the sunset knowing that he gave his all to Tennessee.

Won the NC 3 1/2 months ago. I’d say decline is somewhat exaggerated

I definitely don’t see that this year. They have a QB who can potentially be a deadly weapon with arms and legs now.

I agree with this. Only caveat is that if Hurts transfers and and Tagalogalolulaloiaueleau gets hurt, it could be the difference in a game or two potentially.

As long as Saban’s there it’s hard to project them doing any worse than 10-2 any given season, though. No matter who goes down.

Boom! We won

The win will be when we are a formidable force in college football again. That's when everyone will see we were justified. Then more fan bases will do the same and stand against corrupt practices in college football and in life in general. The revolt make me proud to be a Vol every day.

Who cut onions in here?

lol. it's stupid right? to get that emotional about a football team...check that....a 4 minute long video that showed 20 year old football plays....ridiculous.

but, and this is why SEC football is different than everything else on the planet, the reason it happens is because we, in the SEC, identify our football programs with our families.

saturdays spent with aunts, uncles, moms, dads, grandparents, siblings and cousins. it's not the football you remember, though we've certainly been lucky enough to have plenty worth remembering, it's the stories you get to share about the games, tailgates, dinners, cooks outs, who had too much fun that one time, or when someone took something a little too seriously the other.... it was the only 10, 11, or 12 days a year you heard your mom cuss like a sailor (or maybe that was just me). you heard your grandmother say, with pride, and a smile "go to hell Alabama".

long story short, if you're like me, when i was growing up, TN football on a saturday was an event, whether you were at the game or not. whether it was on TV or not for those of you old enough to remember huddling around a stereo listening to John Ward. and now you're all grown up and you're taking your kids to a freaking practice!!!! ridiculous, right....lol. yep. you're passing the crazy down to your kids. and 20 years from now, they'll be doing the same thing we are right now.

that's why taking those strolls down memory lane do that.

or we're just those crazy TN fans that everyone seems to know what we're all about.

Who do you think is the second best of all time? Pistol Pete, Magic, or Bird? :)

I’m not sure who the second best player is. And how do you decide between a great player like Magic and Kobe and a big time center like Kareem? Pretty wide gap between Jordan and number 2 tho imo. Jordan had it all, all the skills, the killer instinct, perhaps the most clutch athlete who ever lived. Won offensive and defensive awards. He could do it all. But the Pistol doesn’t get enough credit for his skills. He was way ahead of his time.

Hyams was on 104.5 complaining about them only getting to watch 8 minutes of practice. Saying it’s a great way for them to waste a Saturday afternoon. He salty lol

It’s been going on a month guys, let it go.
