Floridas Cece Jefferson will miss four mths after injury in spring game. Shoulder surgery. Not know if will miss game but that def hurts his development over summer and fall.

it still doesn't help Jalen. that's all i was getting at. i mean, if he decides to transfer, it's not like he won't have plenty of choices.

but now, everyone knows his dad may be an issue....that just doesn't help, cause like you said, Saban will tell him to kick rocks, don't let the door hit ya....

I considered him as well, but I’d put him below Bo Wallace even on being sought after. He’s still more than what Hurts would be. I’d probably also put the 5th year guy Oregon got a couple years ago above Hurts, or at least close to the same level.

The longhorn radio guys have been talking about trying to get hurts since the championship game. That would probably be a pretty good fit in that offense too.

Haha that's fair. Living in Austin it is everywhere. I know more about the longhorns than most texas fans. haha. I worked on campus for a while so it was unavoidable. But there actually is one show that is pretty good. It's got a guy that was on the original Real World New York I think. And surprisingly he is like a sports encyclopedia. Dude knows his stuff. He's a homer for sure but he is actually pretty fair about everything. Plus he's a giant seam head so I'm able to keep up with baseball some even though I'm not nearly as big a fan as I used to be. But yes, I probably should be tarred and feathered for listening to longhorn sports talk. I'd listen to Vol radio if I was there, but a lot of those guys kinda suck too. :)

Haha yeah I know. But since I'm only half millennial I tell podcasts to git off my lawn. AM radio works just fine. :lolabove:

And yeah I think I was in high school for that one too. Maybe college. I know I'm about the same age as he is. It was Kevin Dunn. At first I was like what's this real world dude doing on sports talk but he is nothing like you'd expect from somebody that was on the Real World. Very old school about everything.

well i'm full on gen x, and i'm a believe in the notion that "there's an app for that".

and i had to google that guy, he was on the Real world, back to NY...so a little after my time......lol.

Real World guy on the first Chicago cast is one of the morning yack monkeys on the NFL Network. Hard to take him seriously.

Oh yeah, I forgot how far back it went. First one was 92. haha I think I watched the first 3 or 4 of them in the 90's but stopped after that. Makes since why I don't remember him on there. I never watched that one.

Eh, Derek Barnett had like two shoulder surgeries in his time at Knoxville and he never missed a beat.
