I’m not sure he’d be THAT sought after.

Plenty of schools would like to have him and all...but most sought after in CFB history? Doubt it. He won’t have the luxury of being surrounded by draft picks all over the field and a defense that can win most games on its own at most other schools.

There’s a reason he got benched for a freshman...it’s that he’s not a great passer.

Louisville would be a good fit.

Right now its just $8 shy of its all time high that it hit two days ago...maybe the stock market isn't for you.

He would dominate in most other conferences though. Kelly Bryant can’t pass either and Clemson was fine. Hell Hurts still took Bama to the natty. Twice.

He’s not an NFL QB but as a college player he’s very good

He's also got the best supporting cast of anyone in college football. And if not, it's the second best...behind Bryant's.

He's obviously talented but Dad's a little biased. He would not be the "biggest free agent in college history".

Hats off to Dad, though...gotta love Dads.

True but he’s a playmaker. Hurts would wreak havoc in any conference in college football. Imagine him in the PAC12 at UCLA with chip Kelly. He would finish top 3 in Heisman voting probably

So I use a GIF extension on FB, to keep my posts fresh and fly as

Anyways, don’t ask why, but I searched “catch bear”, and after awhile Dobbnail Boot was an option.

Nothing close to what I was looking for in that context, but I posted it, cause Dobbnail boot

ESPNU radio had some coverage on Pruitt doing an interview. They all love him. Pure football guy. Pruitt said the thing that has been a little difficult is the administrative stuff

it's a bit over the top, but at its core, she's all over it.

could do without some of the grandstanding and perpetuation of the fulmer deal (it's not like that was 'the goal', to restore a once proud leader to his rightful spot....meh).

but there is definitely something there with the notion that that there was a lot more to it, than stifling a single coaching hire. that was just the instigating factor, after years and years of malpractice by those in charge. that was the 'enough is enough' moment....and the ripples of that moment continue to spread. on that much, i definitely agree, as well as the point that no one should be embarrassed....for anything. GBO.

Lol, I've been in the market for 25 years. Perhaps your detection of when someone is giving you a hard time needs calibration.

Tennessee isn't neglecting in-state players. If anything, the Vols seem to be getting a bit more involved with some as the year goes along. They sent coaches to Nashville on Monday, the first day they were able to go to schools during the spring evaluation period, and sent a pretty strong message in doing so, so I definitely don't think they're slighting anybody in-state. There's a difference between not recruiting the state and just not going after every single in-state player the previous staff pursued.

From a poster on VQ...

I've had the priveledge to witness up close and personal the last 3 staffs(Kiff,Dooley,Butch) and the way they've conducted practices, meetings, and ran the ship so to speak. This staff is by far the best ive seen, and if given sufficient time, will be very successful here at TN.

They all work well together and seam to genuinely like each other. It's not just just the coaching staff, the support staff and the people CJP has put around him are really good at what they do.

I really like the strength and conditioning guys and they are cut from the same cloth as Cochran at Bama. When your trying to change the "culture" there will be hard times and some kids won't like it. Holding the kids accountable for everything they do and this is the standard in which we prepare, practice, and play.

This process in which our current team is going through, is a process thats a proven winner. If you don't like to be coached, pushed, and challenged to be better, then you won't make it long. I for one am encouraged by the things I've seen from this staff, and would love for my own son to be coached by this current staff. We have the right men for the job!!

Accountability- The kids are being held accountable for their performance or lack thereof. It don't matter if your the star on the team or a first year walk on. Everybody is held accoutbale(coaches included). This staff will coach, push, and challenge the kids to be better no matter who you are, and if you don't like that type of thing, then it might not be for you.
