It was rumored that Pruitt told Fulmer during interview process that he could get freeze as OC if they would allow it. You never really knew how real it was as Helton was hired quickly. My guess is Fulmer asked before hire and was told no then asked Pruitt for his next name

The video interview had more interesting tidbits than the quotes they put in the article. Not sure why they did that. He kinda joked in the video about how Pruitt is a defensive coach but he's always in the offensive meetings telling them the weaknesses of the Defense so the offense can take advantage. haha.
