Moore head is one of the most highly respected offensive minds in all of CFB. He saved James Franklins job at PSU.

He is one of the innovators or RPO heavy offense. Fieldman did a fantastic segment on him on his podcast aka while back when he was at Fordham.

I get all that, but I'm surprised there isn't at leat a little more skepticism about him in year one with a DC who has never done squat without Brent Pry assisting him, a QB who will be bouncing back from a big injury, scheme changes on both sides of the ball, etc.

I think he'll do well at MSU, but 10 wins year one? I don't see that unless Auburn and LSU fall off badly next year. They play KSU on the road too, which shouldn't be a cakewalk.

It'll be interesting to see how many turn out. A lot of rival fans, especially Bammers, are convinced we've already abandoned Pruitt because they haven't heard much press. (Their words). I don't think they realize that although we love info. as a fanbase that after everything we've been through, especially in the now post-Butch Era, low-key and to the point is exactly what we want from a coach right now. We don't want buzz and wouldn't believe it if we had it. We just want results.

The UGA and Bama fans are delusional idiots when it comes to our program. They think we won’t give Pruitt enough time to fix the program (when we just gave Butch 5 dang years) and they truly believe that Fulmer will backstab and fire Pruitt and some really think Fulmer will eventually take over the job as head coach. Seriously, read any Georgia message board if you don’t mind losing a few brain cells. I made the mistake of doing it once, and don’t plan on doing it ever again.

I've seen that too and the weird conspiracy theory about Fulmer backstabbing Pruitt is so hilariously wrong it's amazing. Fulmer wants Tennessee to succeed more than anyone and he's not going to backstab the very man he hired for the lulz or whatever lame reason they give.

To me, they’re either butthurt from all the whoopings they received or are butthurt they got caught cheating. In Bama’s case, both.

I CAN NOT WAIT see Ty Chandler Ball out this fall.

I'm excited to see what he can do.

I'm hoping like hell we get all of our OL back healthy for the season and that Jamir Johnson comes in ready to push some guys as well. I'm worried our OL not being able to open any running lanes between the tackles will limit him.

Coaches can go back on the road starting tomorrow as part of the spring evaluation period and Tennessee will hit the pavement hard despite still having a week left in spring practice.

The Vols will send multiple coaches to Nashville and Charlotte, with others heading to Georgia and Alabama.

Say what you want but I watched the UF spring game and they look pretty good.

Trask is a good QB. Will be the starter.

Scarlett is a good RB.

Their O line is solid and the defense still has plenty of talent.

And their crowd really showed up.

I am not worried, but those saying UF was struggling seems a bit of a stretch to me.

It’s nice to know that Todd grantham is their DC tho lol

The funny thing is I think most people have pretty much the same number in mind. Most have stated that we probably win 6 or 7 games. Where the argument comes in is some of us think if a couple of things go our way we can win one or two more, while others think if any luck is involved it will be bad luck and cost us games. Other than me and Ron saying 15-0 haha most of the optimistic people aren't really saying any more than 8 or 9 wins. Which isn't even really what should be considered a good season for us. It's not like this team is being put on this crazy pedestal. Hopeful expectations are a halfway decent record. haha. But we've seen the last couple of years that a play or 2 a game has been the difference in 3 or 4 wins a year. So IMO it's not unrealistic to think a better coach could change the outcome of some of those close losses and sneak some extra wins in there.

I’ll never say we’re going to lose a game before we play it - no matter the odds...

Sounds like we're going to be able to stop the run with our front 7. If they can find a way to play well at CB we might have a really good defense this fall.

Get Trey Smith, Calbert and Hall back on the OL, add in Anderson at TE, Johnson the JUCO OL, the QB and RB grad transfers with the other HS newcomers this summer and the optimism continues to grow...

I think the DL will be a nice surprise. But with our current OL, most all front 7 could stop the run
