Trying to be a nicer gentler me. Other night umpire screw up third dropped strike call saying batter was out even though the catcher dropped the ball on third strike cause first was occupied and our runners had all made it safely to their base. That’s right UNLESS there are two outs.

I am telling him as I walk up to him what the rule is and he’s wrong. I know the guy well and he said, you’re right you’re right with two outs it doesn’t matter. I said good. You gonna put our runners back out there since everyone had already flipped the field? He said nah. I smiled and said, aight and walked away. My wife couldn’t believe it. She was ready for me to lose it. Better to just move on and smell the roses. We still won.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I don’t really like the away uniforms with orange pants. Storm troopers are some of my favorite uniforms we wear. Something has just always seemed strange/ off putting about the white shirts with orange pants.

You would think that dumbing down the sport even more while making no meaningful improvement in injuries would tell you something. But it never does. It only makes it less interesting to play and watch.
