Trying to be a nicer gentler me. Other night umpire screw up third dropped strike call saying batter was out even though the catcher dropped the ball on third strike cause first was occupied and our runners had all made it safely to their base. Thats right UNLESS there are two outs.
I am telling him as I walk up to him what the rule is and hes wrong. I know the guy well and he said, youre right youre right with two outs it doesnt matter. I said good. You gonna put our runners back out there since everyone had already flipped the field? He said nah. I smiled and said, aight and walked away. My wife couldnt believe it. She was ready for me to lose it. Better to just move on and smell the roses. We still won.
