Colin Kaepernick Thread

What do people think the NAACP should be doing these days?

I think Colin will get picked up around week 6 or so.

He is not a good QB, they cant force someone to pay him and let him play --- where were they when Jamarcus Russell needed a team ?

It's just like McCoy said, he's not good enough to put up with the circus. If he were a great QB they'd put up with almost anything.

Sure - the Browns will need another QB by then

I think if you say that Kap isn't playing because of his protest, then you should also say that Tebow isn't playing because of his outspoken Christian views.

Fact is, both of them are below average QB's. Kap is a little better than Tebow, and yes he did QB a Superbowl team, but Tebow won in Denver and won playoff games too.

I just think everyone is just missing the point that he is not a great QB. However, we are at the point where I think SOMEONE could pick him up. He is definitely better than Bortles and Henne. But hey, Jags are gunning for that #1 draft pick I guess.

I think the NAACP should work towards bettering the communities of black people, and improving the education provided to black people. They may be doing this and I don't know about it, but issues like Kapernick do nothing for the solving of the true problems in the black community.

The reason this fool isn't with the Ravens is because his girlfriend send out a racist tweet with John Harbaugh and Ray Lewis.

This does helps his collusion case against the NFL. This guy's going to end up winning that thing.
Oh, he'll never play again, though. Not a chance.

They could easily argue that he's a risk to their business. Kaepernick is a privileged minority complaining about lightning striking.

I think it's funny that Kaepernick's girlfriend had an Instagram post appearing to imply that an NFL owner (Steve Bisciotti) is like a slave owner, and he's suing the NFL for not signing him to a contract.

So he's suing a group of slave owners for not making him a slave?

He ain’t winning crap. How does him blowing a potential tryout help him prove that the ENTIRE LEAGUE conspired against him? The Seahawks not get the memo?

He's a clown for wanting to exercise his 1st amendment rights?

Colin Kapernick is a HERO. A true American sports hero like Muhammad Ali. And like Ali, he won't be appreciated by white Americans until it's too late.

What Colin Kaepernick has done to sacrifice a lucrative career to stand up for the rights of black people less fortunate than him is one of the most honorable and heroic acts of the Last 50 years.

I have nothing but the utmost respect and love for my brotha Colin Kaepernick.
