That game never happened.

Unfortunately, the memories of both my presence at the game as well as the 4.5 hours it took me to get out of stadium, to the parking garage and 90 miles back to my house, remain as clear as what I had for lunch 2 hours ago. That was BY FAR the worst sports moment I've ever experienced (and, if you'll note my teams <--- and recall the 2016 NCAA basketball national championship game, that's saying something).

You ate lunch too early IMO. TIFWIW.

Might just be the goal of the playoffs and we’re only 1 game in.

i'll agree with that. that was an awesome goal.

but the first round has already been entertaining on that front...this one got me out of my seat Wed night...still can't believe the hand/eye coordination these guys have to do what they do, especially smacking a puck out of mid air, redirecting to the back of the net......amazing.

Yeah, I bet it's awesome when it gets dark at 4:30pm in December. :)

Makes it easier to get the kids to go to bed early. Quite the opposite when I lived in Indy and it was still full light at 9:30 in the evening during the summer. My girls were confused about why they had to go to bed in the middle of the afternoon. :eek:lol:

FSU qb D Francois cited for marijuana possession!

Well done! Way to be a leader.

Board’s been lacking a BUBear type to update us on irrelevant info since that...whole team assaulting females all over campus thing.

That was a really good goal as well. I played hockey my whole life and both of those are very tough to do. What impressed me the most with Forsbergs goal was the power he did it with. He had the handles to do what he did and do it at the speed in which he did to blow by Girard, that is very difficult to do.

agreed, was watching some of the Toronto game the other night, and i forget who it was, but he had a break away, beat the defender, was just outside the crease, and slashed to his left, and had the net all to himself...except one thing...he forgot the puck.

so yeah, really difficult to do.

i've only gotten in to Hockey in the last 15 years. Growing up in MS, it really wasn't a thing.....:p

my wife is from pittsburgh, and we go to pens games whenever we can when we visit her family. so it's been easy to get in to....and the pens haven't sucked, so that's made it even easier...great game though.

especially post season play....

A snippet from Rutherford for all the posters who are predicting our whole starting dline get drafted.

The starting D-Line is good and will make our O-like much better for having to work against them on the regular. Now if we have any injuries on either line...

Honestly, I really like our defense outside of the huge ?? at CB.

D-Line starting group is the best group on our defense, but also the thinnest as we don’t really have any experienced depth there. If Tuttle stays healthy, he will be drafted in the top 3 rounds. He is so good. Kongbo and Phillips are also very suited to being 3-4 DEs. I expect big things from that starting group.

LB is solid and has a few exchangeable pieces. Getting Taylor away from the OTs so that he can utilize his athleticism even more to get to the QB is a no brainer. We know what we have if we get a healthy Kirkland and Bituli. Sapp makes plays even if he doesn’t have prototypical size. The addition of Peterson and possible emergence of guys like Ignont and Bates has this group as probably our deepest.

Safety has a star in Warrior and then a couple guys that can fill that other spot— I think Theo Jackson could be a player there, he has looked pretty good so far. TKjr is a leader and if he can get healthy and regain some of his lost speed with better S&C could make things happen. Abernathy is not very physical, but he is very athletic.

At CB Buchanan has been consistent, but I have no clue what we have there after that. We have a lot of guys that could be the man, but I really just don’t know who is going to be the one to step up and who will be ready to be the third man up. There is talent available, but this far— maybe due to schemes— it has been squandered. Pruitt likes for his CBs to play more press man. I tend to like tight man coverage more myself, so this is good with me. It’s much better than the near 10 yards of buffer our DBs have given WRs over the last couple years. Our guys have to get used to this philosophy change though because if you allow the WR to release from the line of scrimmage too easily they will burn you.
