The Big 3 Celtics in 09,10,11

Next best after that? Ehh, Paul George Pacers?

Forgot about PG13. Id probably put those Pacers teams as the toughest for Bron over the last 10 years with the 2010 Cs. Little bit of a flash in the pan with Hibbert there. Just saying it’s not like he’s going through the gauntlet every year in the East. It’s been historically weak imo

Those 08 and 10 Celtics teams were nasty

What about 09 when the magic beat the celtics and la bron to get to the finals?

There have only been 3 great coaches in the NBA since LeBron has been active. Jackson, Pop and Riley. He didn't get to play for any of them.

Riley was GM though.

But yes, the carousel of coaches around LeBron mostly has to do with him. But little to do with the fact that he never could play for one of those 3. That was mostly circumstance.

How many championships did any of them win without generational talent on the roster? Maybe Jordan, Shaq and Kobe had something to do with Phil? Tim Duncan with Pop? Magic, Kareem, Wade and Shaq with Riley? Hell the ONLY coach in recent memory to win it all without players of that caliber was Larry Brown with the Pistons.

Defenses were more physical. Much more physical. I’m not sure that means “better”, but the physicality aspect really isn’t debatable.

As far as scoring.... they actually played TEAM basketball in those days.

I'm with you on everything but the "I'm not sure that means better" comment. Defense is garbage now and is so by design.

Also, Lebron wouldn't finish the dunk on any of those plays above. Hes more focused on acting. Get that trash outta here.

I feel like I've seen about ten highlights over the last month or two of Lebron straight dunking on fools. The hate on here for the second greatest basketball player of all time is baffling.

Is it more baffling than people struggling to hate on Michael by posting gifs of him pooping on defenders though? Haha La bron brings that hate on himself for the most part. He is a great player. He had the physical gifts and talents to be the greatest. And yet he isn't. Michael is.

Yeah I agree with that. I just don't get all the hate on Lebron. At worst he's top 5 all time right now. By the time he retires he'll firmly be in the number two spot, unless he wins a couple more titles.

Mark Prices little brother would have no business playing in the nba today. I’m just proving my point the game today includes much better players and talent. People on this board just nit pick, ie the white boy comment and so I ran with it. Why not rile up the sensitive little girls on this board a lil bit

There are plenty of current players in the same category as mark Price's brother. What's yer point. Even the some of the great current players are worse defensively than mark Price's little brother. Don't make me break out the James harden defense gifs. Hahahaha

Everything you have said here is true, but I have no idea what the point is you are trying to make

I don't disagree with that. But la bron earns his hate every time he talks or flops. Hahaha

how you feel is not my concern. Dunking on fools these days doesn't mean the same. they all move out of his way and dont body up.

This argument always baffles me. By the time he retires, Kevin Durant will be known as the GOAT. Not Jordan. Definitely not Lebron.

Beating EVERY team he faced in the Finals in 6 games vs LOSING to an inferior Mavs squad in 6 games? :hmm:

Dropping 63 on Boston in the first round and almost singlehandedly beating one of the greatest squads ever assembled after missing months to foot surgery and coming back and willing a crap Bulls team into the playoffs..Prompting Larry Legend to say he was "god disguised as Michael Jordan"

You cited Jordan’s coach as an advantage? Maybe if Lebron doesn’t bail on his every few seasons, they enter that pantheon?

Pistol Pete Maravich FTW!

Wrong. He’s white, and everyone knows white people aren’t athletic and can’t play basketball

Greatest force of nature performance I’ve ever seen! Against one of the greatest NBA teams ever!

In terms of athleticism and skill level. Lebron is the goat no doubt.

6'8 240lb that can handle the ball like a PG and use sheer strength to get to the rim. He's 33 years old and arguably having his best season to date.

Jordan and then Kobe are the best scorers ever. No one can top their sheer will to win.

I remember. i went to every game in Orlando that post season. we dared lebron to do it all himself and he failed. let him take a few open threes down the stretch too 🤣

Haha as a magic fan that was fun but I had just left Orlando so I didn't get to go to any of those. I was at a couple the year before.
