Jordan had Orlando woolridge averaging over 20pts and Dailey averaging 16pts. The rosters were not much different, very comparable. Boozer was still young only 2nd yr hadn’t became the player he was with Utah

I'm sorry, who and who? Ricky davis from that cavs team was probably better than both those guys.

LeBron was also years younger than Jordan his rookie year, so understandably it took him his year to adjust to the competition.

The funny thing with this debate is it always involves lebron fans giving excuses for failures and Jordan fans giving examples of greatness. :loco:

Lol alright man keep dodging

Ricky Davis couldn’t keep his head out of his ass to make anything outta his career had potential didn’t reach it

Hahaha right? The league is so top heavy right now it's not even worth watching unless it 2 of the 3 teams that are any good. When was the last time anybody was surprised by a finals matchup. You can predict them before the season starts.

Too many games and wayyyyyy too many teams.

Nothing he said was false. The whole meaner tougher argument is just an opinion with no backing. They were like 6 new teams for most of Jordan’s career. That alone waters down the league as a whole.

Just stack up their individual abilities and you would take lebron in:

Passing
Transition
3pt shooting. (Jordan’s best two years they moved in the line)
Defensive versatility
Length
Rebounding.
Better in pick and roll
Getting to the rim

Jordan is for sure better mid range, free throws, on probably on ball defense.

So many things point to Lebron except for whatever the hell killer mentality is.

Beating EVERY team he faced in the Finals in 6 games vs LOSING to an inferior Mavs squad in 6 games? :hmm:

And was still better than the two guys you mentioned. :loco:

People go in that forum?

I do for softball. I actually put every basketball related thread on ignore so I turned it into the softball forum for me.

On occasion I will read one of the dozen "fire holly threads" for some gold before putting it on ignore.

For you guys finding the basketball discussion unappealing, don't worry. I'm working on a post which will bring the MJ vs. LeBron and Chance Hall topics together.

It's going to be good...

What is Jordan’s excuse for not being good enough to transition from high school straight to the nba? Jordan was not as good at 18 as LeBron and that was the ages being compared.

Naa keep making excuses for Jordan tho 😉

That's not an excuse. That's an example of him still making the playoffs with a terrible roster his rookie year. You are making excuses for lebron not making the playoffs. Ya got it backwards lil homey. :detective:

Kids didn’t play basketball 12 months a year back then. And they could pass entrance exams. :) It was a different era. Stars generally hung around 3-4 seasons. Kevin Garnett and Kobe shifted the paradigm. Your point is silly.

It's like Bruin has possessed all of you and the need to argue without end is oozing out of your pores.
