We did seem to have more than our fair share of injuries under Intern Butch. Pruitt has avoided casting direct blame, but he's made comments about conditioning and the way the team practiced before that makes you wonder.

Also, Butch seemed to take a lot of players with pre-existing injuries, banking on them staying healthy. Chance Hall missed his HS SR season and has missed two seasons at UT. Calbert had two torn ACLs in HS before suffering another one at UT. Pruitt has already shown that he's not going to do this.

Wait, Calbert tore his ACL again last year? How did I miss this? I thought he had just never fully recovered from the earlier injuries.

Man if we got Chance back - even as just a reserve - what a boost that would be.

Hope it works out for him.

Who contributes more this year:

Hall or Calbert?

The Bulls finished with 10 more wins and 5th in their division before Jordan and made the playoff with a 38-44 record lol gtfo dude just quit. The Cavs were 17-65 and 8th the yr before Lebron and went 37-45 his rookie year

Compare those 2 rosters. I was a huge basketball fan back then and don't remember a single other player on that bulls team Michael's rookie year. Cleveland at least had Boozer and Zydrunas (who GM lebron brought him to Miami with him too and said he was one of his best teammates).

Maybe he just reinjured the knee -- not a complete tear? He was a potential RS, then got dinged in camp and had to have the surgery. IIRC, he was supposed to be full-go by spring practice, but is coming along a little slower.

Hopefully we have some good fortune this year and he and Chance can get/stay healthy. We’re die, right?!

Jordan had Orlando woolridge averaging over 20pts and Dailey averaging 16pts. The rosters were not much different, very comparable. Boozer was still young only 2nd yr hadn’t became the player he was with Utah

LeBron was also years younger than Jordan his rookie year, so understandably it took him his year to adjust to the competition.
