Bigger turnaround in 2018... Pruitt or Mullen?
I think Pruitt could make a bigger turnaround and win fewer games than Mullen, if that makes sense. UF gets to play 2 FCS teams this year and their west opponents shouldn't be as tough as ours.
So I'm gonna say Mullen comes out ahead in the win column year one, but I think Pruitt makes a bigger improvement on our team than Mullen does on theirs (if that makes any sense).
They're extending Holly for recruiting and negotiating the backend to limit the buyout. They'll probably bump bonuses to incentivize performance. Not sure how the numbers will work out. Fulmer wasn't going to fire her his first year and UT wants distance between messy coaching searches. She was never going to be fired this year.
Is it just me, or do all the local media continuously whine about their limited access to practice?

They had no choice with Holly if she did not resign IMO. They need the good recruiting class to keep the roster solid for the next coach. Phil needs a year or so to work on her replacement. At her age and with the same staff they will not be getting any smarter as coaches, so it's going to be more of the same BS. If she lucks up to the talent and makes Elite 8 again she can hang on even another year after that. Sickening, but true. I just don''t think they think of women's basketball as being all that now.
Anything of note from last night's War Room?
Sobering reality in the aftermath of ridicule. Changes some of my narrative on the former Gators coach.
The real reason ex-Gators coach Jim McElwain took a loss on his Florida home isnt so funny
Carolina and Tampa Bay have already blazed the trail.
Freshman Jacob Warren, who has added 10-15 pounds, had what many feel was his best week this week. Warren still has a long ways to go in terms of strength and weight, but he is a guys who's shown growth and improvement thought the first half of spring practice.
Quarterback Jarrett Guarantano has expectedly been the best quarterback this spring by a wide margin. Guarantano has made plays, including building a nice connection with sophomore Jordan Murphy, who has been one of those guys making a play when Pruitt speaks vaguely of the offense making a play in practice. Another wideout turning heads is sophomore Josh Palmer. His route running is said to be improved and he is holding on to the ball when its thrown his way with much more consistency.
