Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson are CLEARLY the 2 best QBs in the 2018 NFL Draft

Not yet. Unlike ya'll I watch the games, I don't give guys respect based on stats. Nothing Joey Bosa has done on tape yet in the NFL has impressed me. Most of his sack production is based on mistakes by the opposition or effort. He's not a dominant pass rusher. He's not even better than his own teammate Melvin Ingram.

Before the draft I compared him to Aaron Kampman. And like I said a million times even a nobody like Aaron Kampman had a couple of huge double-digit sack seasons and made a couple of Pro Bowls. Doesn't mean Aaron Kampman was a star or worthy of being taken 3rd overall in any NFL draft.

But the “16 draft was your “rookie” effort? You just admitted that you didn’t know what the **** you were doing, but you’re all perfect again...now that you do. :wink2: And your continued Aaron Kampman analogy is so far out of whack! Dude was a FIFTH ROUND pick who made a couple of Pro Bowls in his FIFTH and SIXTH seasons. He didn’t break out the gate like Bosa did and dominate AFTER missing the first four weeks of his rookie season? And he bettered that his second season! Meanwhile you have so many projected Pro Bowlers that can’t even make a roster and one of those (Kaaya) was in “17. Bosa dominates this year and you’re going to have to open that big mouth and accept what’s coming. :eek:hmy:

Possibly the most football-ignorant statement that you've ever typed on this board, but it's only Wednesday, so I'll have to wait till the end of the week to be sure.

How did Brad Kaaya look on tape last year?

He was very impressive in the pre-season. I watched him play against the Colts. He looked really good. I think that game is what impressed them to sign him after he was released by Detroit.

The kid doesn't have great physical talent but he's smart. He'll get his chance soon and when he does I expect him to take full advantage of it and develop into a solid starter like Matt Ryan.

Lol... Guy can't make a roster, but will be a "solid starter".... like the guy that was MVP last year.

It's like watching the NFL Network if they were all drunk

So a Matt Ryan with a quarter of the arm strength? Ryan has a MVP. “Solid” ain’t the appropriate adjective.

Drunk? Alcohol isn't up to this degree of delusion. I'm thinking acid or DMT.

Kurt Warner couldn't make a roster for the longest time and ended up in the Hall of Fame.

Brad Kaaya will be fine. I'm not worried about him one bit.

Kyle Shanahan made him the MVP. Just like he made RG3 Rookie of the Year. That guy is simply an offensive mastermind that makes QBs look a lot better than they really are.

Matt Ryan is really a slightly above average starting QB in the NFL. He's not elite. And his lack of elite play outside of that one magical year with Kyle Shanahan proves it.

Matt Ryan isn't a great QB. He's simply good.

D4H -- who are the top 7 RBs in the 2018 draft -- in order ?

You mean after he was released by Detroit, and by Carolina, and by Detroit again?

Why didn’t Kyle Shanahan do that with RGIII after his rookie season...if the player’s physical ability and QB IQ isn’t a factor? Or for whatever the Browns threw out in 2014? Or Ryan’s other season he was all geniusing around? What your post proves is that you got your hand up your bunghole AGAIN...pulling crap out.

Kaaya isn’t even a good QB...gotta make a team first. :)

I'm honest with myself. I never said I was infallible. Just better than everyone else.
Boy don’t make me find out there u live and come put hands on you wouldn’t be anything real violent just more like the dad that confronts his teenage wanna be gangster son after seeing his Facebook

Answer this for me d4h will you start to give Bosa credit if he hits 35 sacks after 3rs season and don’t u even think about bringing up how he lines up against the right tackle lol that’s what WDE do

Fact is Bosa had big time pressure being a top 3 pick
And he’s done nothing but live up to it

Kids fantastic and he’s a bad ass white boy from Lauderdale repping STA can’t help but like him and his brother t

D4H -- who are the top 7 RBs in the 2018 draft -- in order ?

I'll do you better. Here's my top 10 RBs in the 2018 NFL Draft:

(Tier 1)
1. Saquon Barkley (Penn St.) - Top 5 grade.....NFL comp: Fred Taylor
2. Rashaad Penny (San Diego St.) - Top 10 grade.....NFL comp: Curtis Martin
3. John Kelly (Tennessee) - mid-1st round grade.....NFL comp: Priest Holmes
4. Ronald Jones II (USC) - mid-1st round grade.....NFL comp: Jamaal Charles
5. Mark Walton (Miami) - late 1st round grade

(Tier 2)
6. Sony Michel (Georgia)- 2nd round grade
7. Royce Freeman (Oregon) - 2nd round grade.....NFL comp: Carlos Hyde
8. Nick Chubb (Georgia) - 2nd round grade.....NFL comp: Jonathan Stewart
9. Derrius Guise (LSU) - 2nd round grade
10. Bo Scarborough (Alabama) - 3rd round grade (injury risk)

Tier 1 RBs are guys I expect to be stars in the league. They should be Pro Bowl caliber players for several years. Tier 2 RBs are guys who I expect to be very solid starters in the NFL. However, they won't be as consistent as the Tier 1 guys.

I feel very confident about my top 5. I have the exact same grade on John Kelly and Ronald Jones II so they're essentially tied. I've been flip-flopping them for a few weeks now. After my top 5, I have the next 5 RBs all graded roughly the same. The only Bo Scarborough has a 3rd round grade rather than a 2nd round grade like the others is because he's a huge injury risk. In terms of pure talent he would have a 2nd round grade.

This RB is loaded. Incredible talent at the top and depth throughout. It has a chance to be the greatest RB class in NFL history.

I wonder why none of ya'll have posted this article? Steelers won't use a first or second round pick on a quarterback

Ya'll love to post any article you can find that speculates on the Steelers taking a QB in the 1st round. According to Bob Labriola (arguably the most connected reporter in Pittsburgh) the Steelers are looking to draft defensive players in the first 2 rounds.

Looks like Dobbs will get his shot to be the successor to Big Ben. I think he wins the backup job this year in the preseason. And then in the regular season when Big Ben has his inevitable injury, Dobbs will take over and never look back.

The legend of Josh Dobbs begins in 2018.

Hey! Thanks for that! Labriola’s interested in Mason Rudolph...like I posted a week back. :eek:k:

But in the end, Labriola is merely a sports writer. More informed than yourself of course, but similarly powerless concerning who the Steelers actually take in the draft. And if he is correct on this one, then Dobbs will have to wait longer before he even gets STARTED. Dobbs might turn into your second Kaaya...or Hogan if he’s lucky and ever starts ONE game.

I just hope ya'll don't pretend like you have with Alvin Kamara that you saw it all along when Dobbs turns into a star QB in the NFL.

99.9% of this board doesn't believe he will ever be a starter. I better not see any revisionist history next year like I saw this past year when it came to Alvin Kamara.

Or WHAT? Gonna admonish us sternly on a message board? :w00t: Your Kamara prediction still veers to the extreme hyperbole that is you. He had an excellent rookie season...he’s a long way from the HOF and if he has a sophomore slump? Doom on you, ya hack! No room for slippage on your Bosa scale. I’ll put it out there. Dobbs doesn’t start this year...whether Big Ben gets injured or no...we’ll see about Sutton but he’s never Pro Bowl caliber. Goff and Bosa and Trubisky excel and you have to sit and spin in your helplessness.

If Rosen, Darnold, and Rudolph read Volnation, they should all be buying mansions, Bentleys, and Benettis. Guaranteed success coming now.

I thought it was to begin in 2017?

Reading problems? They’re mid-round picks...at best.

No. He became “aware of new information”. Translation: It didn’t happen, but it’s “guaranteed” this season! Only thing that hasn’t been determined is the he severity of Big Ben’s career ending injury. :hi:
