Mueller: Trump not the target of criminal investigation

Of course, Mueller could just be trying to bait Trump into an interview. Mueller also told Trump's lawyers that he is preparing a report about the president's actions while in office and potential obstruction of justice, per The Washington Post, who cited 'two people with knowledge of the conversations'.

That is a tactic used to make someone feel comfortable when they talk to investigators.

😂😂😂😂😂

Or he could be telling the truth since this far there’s nothing point to Trump himself.

I’d still tell him to pound sand.

Same thing Comey told Trump, he is NOT under investigation...but Comey’s shadier than a weepin’ willow tree, and I wouldn’t just lay down my guard and trust Mueller and his henchmen either.

In all honesty, there is ZERO evidence Trump is under investigation at all...and Comey and Mueller allegedly said NO, so maybe that’s the case since there is no known circumstantial evidence to create probable cause against Trump.

That said, he may never talk to Mueller, there’s no reason to talk to a president for many reasons.

If it’s a true counterintelligence op, exploring all angles, the tentacles of the anti-Trump community has got bigly problems coming in regards to collusion with foreign agent(s) and the Russian’s. There’s 100 connections and coincidences, and likely numerous people they’ll get to rollover.

Just to clarify, per the Washington Post article, Mueller told Trump's attorneys that the president remains under investigation but is not currently a criminal target.

That’s clear as mud. If there is no suspicion of criminal activity, why the hell is he under investigation?

Gotcha...so Comey said NO to Trump, and Mueller said YES allegedly Trump is under investigation.

What source said that or is it unnamed?

That’s the BIG problem with this ‘allegation’...investigations into someone doesn’t work that way, you have to have circumstantial evidence of a crime to investigate someone.
This is why many call it a witch hunt or fishing expedition to find a crime...totally off the rails, ‘if’ true.

Lol it’s coming out that Rosenstein’s double secret probation memo came out a full week after Mueller raided Manafort’s house.

So A) Mueller obtained information before the engagement letter and B) admits to Trump he is a subject and not a target of investigation. That’s significant.

By DOJs own guidelines there isn’t any actual evidence of a crime it’s just suspect conduct/behavior if you are a subject. Mueller just told Trump he has no evidence on him. And Rosenstein’s vague appointment let Mueller overreach on Manafort and they issued the clarifying memo after the fact.

The whole basis for the special prosecutor was invalid and it’s coming undone. Lol. Awesome. 😂😂😂😂

Right. Special counsel is meant to investigate a specified crime in which there is a conflict by the ordinary investigative body. In this case, they never a specified crime, and now it turns out the special counsel even admits as much. It needs to be disbanded.
