Sooo. Looks like dotard wants to attack a private company because their business model is hurting his buddies. Good old buddy network in full swing.

I for one can't wait to pay more taxes to Amazon so the government can misappropriate them with wanton negligence.

I believe trumps protectionism of his friends and us markets isn't capitalism and it's costing stockholders billions.

Suggesting he's going to single out Amazon for tax scrutiny has nothing to do with a natural market correction. I'm sure it's a coincidence that Bezos owns WaPo.

I’ve never defended him as a Boy Scout. And on the market as a whole I think we’re long overdue, his saber rattling might be helping it a tad. 😁

I’m considering picking up some Amazon while Trump continues his Twitter crusade against them. That may be a bargain buy right now.

The tax collection is a pass through, it would have little impact on sales. If shipping was to increase it will increase for all competitors in the space, so that doesn't appear to much of an issue either. AWS is raking and there are way more facets to this company than just the website. I wouldn’t be concerned about buying now.

Do you think anyone has told Trump that his largely irrational tweeting is erasing a lot of the gains he has been bragging about?

Do you think he listens to them since that would be a criticism of him and he does not want to hear any of that?

I don't mind. Even though the last month has been bad overall, I'm still making around 8% per year over the last two years. Plenty good for long-term holdings.

Plus, the irrational tweeting leads to irrational dips, which leads to bargain buying.
