Enough talk about gators.

Help me out here LA Vol, or anyone else who knows. I don't live in TN anymore so I haven't paid attention to the FOCUS bill until now. I did a little research and read that the "incoming" gov will choose 60% of the Board. It also says the legislature has final say on those. So, why are we worried Haslam will stack the Board?

How’s Fant looking at RB?

Blakely doing well at TE?

How about CFA doing?

How’s Calbert?

Anyone else making moves?

1. Fant continues to garner praise behind the scenes. Couple folks thought he was the best tailback on the roster on Saturday. Now, can he stay healthy? And will the Vols work him at other spots since they see him as a Swiss Army Knife type offensive weapon.

2. Too early to know here.

3. CFA swimming a bit mentally learning a new position + complicated scheme. But he's shown a real competitiveness. Sounds like his positional future will be evaluated after a scrimmage.

4. He told me at Pro Day he's on track to be good to go in the fall. It's been steady battle, but he was out there doing drill work with the unit on Tuesday. Was working inside at LG, too.

5. I had heard that Baylen Buchanan had a nice offseason and he's been running with the 1s at CB so far this spring. Alexis Johnson has received several atta-boys from Rocker when we've been out there, too.

Must have meant Ga instead of Pa... Lowe liked it and one of his coaches also did right after this coach posted "Wow it went down tonight wait until the announcement its crazy. "Then Sean brown retweeted and like both tweets... makes me think we hit a double boom on Lowe and brown

I'm glad there's confidence in at least one of our corners. CFA still has 20 practices (if they keep him there) to learn the position. Shamburger is still at corner too, and I thought he showed potential last year, as tough as we were to watch.

That's applicable to a lot of posters and topics here.

Price thinks it’s this guy who TN just offered...

Julian Fleming, Southern Columbia, Wide Receiver

FOCUS being voted on this morning. Such a load of horse crap. If this thing was on the up and up it wouldn’t have the rushed deadline and would be left for the next governor.

Do our representatives not see what he's trying to do? Or do they not care?

Probably don’t care honestly. There are likely a few that are diehard fans, but I’d say they’re in vast minority. If they go into this vote stating that this bill saves the state $xM per year, most politicians won’t look any further into the details or ramifications.

And when I mean fans, I mean there are few outside the Tennessee family who realize the harm Haslem has done to our program and school. All they see is successful businessman, Governor, and well respected business school and think nothing but flowers and unicorns.

If Haslam and his possy will let Fulmer and Davenport do their jobs, hopefully we'll be alright for now. I'm more concerned with the long term effects this will have.
