I read an article from CFN (College Football News) from earlier this month where they ranked where they thought all FBS teams would end up this year. They admitted the piece was one of those too esrly to be accurate (click bait) predictions but I read it anyway.
They had us finishing at #39 after facing six top 20 teams on our schedule. I think they had WVa at #16. They did say if things fell right for us it was at this point in their opinion possible we could finish in the top 20.
#2 Alabama
#3 Georgia
#6 Auburn
#11 LSU
#13 USCe
#17 FL
#26 MSU
#29 A&M
#39 Tenn
#41 Ark
#47 Mo
#48 Ky
#53 OM
$61 VD
I think that has us 9th best in the SEC.
What say you? Over or under?
Our current coaching staff look like the kind of guys that would walk into a bar and take your girl.
Our previous coaching staff look like the kind of guys that get their girl took at the bar.
So as long as the Haslams are around, the football team wont be any good?
How does that make any sense
So since that didn't happen with Pruitt shouldn't that be over?
Because since Dickey left we started prioritizing facilities and comfort instead of winning.
Until our decisions are about winning and not about letting a donor pick the coach we will be stuck unless we just get super lucky.
Butch would have walked into the bar, alone, used every cheesy pick up line in the book to any girl who would look his way, lead with "what's your sign," and then played foosball in the corner, by himself, drinking virgin cosmopolitans.
He would never have been the guy with the girl.
