#BoycottNRA

I just want to make sure I have everything correct about the march yesterday.

These kids want to take firearms away from law abiding citizens and only have them in the hands of the law enforcement that's already showed they are incapable of protecting them.

Did that sound right?

More from the NRA....

On Thursday evening, NRA TV posted a clip on its YouTube channel entitled "A march for their lies" where the host addressed the Parkland students and said that if their friends hadn't died, "no one would know your names."
"To all the kids from Parkland getting ready to use your First Amendment to attack everyone else's Second Amendment at your march on Saturday, I wish a hero like Blaine had been at Marjory Douglas High School last month," Colion Noir said. "Because your classmates would still be alive and no one would know your names. And because the media would have completely and utterly ignored your story the way they ignored his."
He was referring to Blaine Gaskill, the school resource officer who was instrumental in bringing a school shooting to a quick end at Great Mills High School in Maryland on Tuesday.

And what about that wasn't true?

1. "A march for their lies" ?
2. "No one would know your names"
3. Had a hero like Blaine been there your classmates would still be alive. Complete and total lie.
4. The media would then have completely and utterly ignored your story the way they ignored his. 100% total BS lie. I have seen numerous stories on Gaskill and his quick actions. Plus the two shootings were in no way similar. In the latter, the guy was specifically targeting his ex-girlfriend.

The whole statement is intentionally misleading and biased. I rate it as TOTAL BS.

I wonder how many realize they are being used and the "facts" they are provided by the left are utterly false.

And furthermore how many actually care about the subject or are actually doing it just because it's socially cool.

So you chose to break the law?

Did you not agree with it?

I guess you're attempting to make a point.

Everyone occasionally chooses to break the law. Sometimes they break laws they don't agree with and sometimes they even break laws they do agree with.
People also follow laws with which they both agree and disagree.

They don’t care that they are being used and look like fools as long as they get clicks on their social media.

Most of the guys are probably there hoping to impress some chick.

How many times a day does “is this legal” cross your mind?

No, they want to ban assault style weapons (x,y), high capacity magazines, have universal background checks, close a couple of loop holes, and raise the age to 21.

For around the thousandth time, you have yet to define what an assault style weapon is, what a high capacity magazine is. What loopholes?

Also, since these little kids claim they can’t be trusted with a gun until 21, wouldn’t that mean they can’t be trusted to vote u til 21?

So...

They want to take away firearms from law abiding citizens and leave them in the hands of law enforcement that hasn't protected them?

They will age and recognize their folly.

Not nearly as often as it use to. But every time I drive on the highway that my subdivision is off of, it is my primary thought. They have radar set up daily (for the past year - since it was widened to 6 lanes) and write multiple tickets. It's a road you could easily (but not safely) drive 70 on. I am thrilled, by the way, that they are out there writing tickets. Otherwise, I'm sure there would have already been multiple serious accidents, just from my subdivision alone.

The point is there. It always has been.

As previously stated laws don't prevent feelings or choices in regards to alcohol, drugs or even murder as an extreme.

More of them are not gonna change what you think it does. When it doesn't we 'll hear about tougher or additional laws that don't remove feelings or choices either.

For the millionth time. (x, y ratio) let people sit down, discuss, and agree upon the exact numbers and definitions.

Loopholes - internet purchases, gun shows etc...

A few things.

The want to ban all guns is not a myth drummed up by gun nuts or the NRA . If some thought it could actually happen they would be pushing hard for it.

Having said that, since it's not possible "we" (The anti gun crowd) are willing to compromise or give that up for something else.

What are you "giving" to the compromise? A threat of something you can't do anyway? We 're no longer gonna pursue taking all or most of your guns for X law.

In other words it's not a compromise. It's having less taken from you to prevent a fight that could lead to more.

So, if you - "we (the anti-gun-gun crowd)" - don't advocate banning guns, you're not anti-gun, are you?

Rather, you are for banning all guns and think people are too stupid to detect your dishonesty or notice the incremental approach to gun bans elsewhere under the guise of compromise.

So, we need to ban assault weapons without know what assault weapons are? F’n classic!!

Walk me through buying off of the Internet. Thanks.

“Ban assault weapons!”

“What are they?”

“We’ll decide later!”
