#BoycottNRA

It’s funny that so many people are following the lead of ignorant 15-year olds hellbent on destroying their own freedom.

I’m totally engaged with them in this topic. While they undertake this “historic” event I plan of putting Agent Orange on the yard and doing yearly maintenance on the riding mower. #keepthefaith

Changes need to be made. Common sense changes.

Again, if both parties come to the table, it can happen. You're always going to piss people off. The problem with the NRA isn't the 2nd ammendment protection, it's the power it holds and influence it has on politics, specifically the right. No one group should have that type of power and or influence. We left all that behind in England.

Samuel Colt won the West. We are forever bound to Guns in this Country. Despite my feelings on the issue, who knows, maybe I'd like to protect my family. Better yet, if I choose to soend a large amount of time outdoors...i may need one. Ergo, I'm protected.

What's unexplainable to me is the staggering number of people who have access to guns. And, multitudes of them. Ammo that was meant for Police and Mil. use. Again, this is wjere a bi-partisan, sensical approach - and a deal will need to be struck.

Further, restructuring how we protect our schools will need to be updated. There's too much at stake, the future is here. Let me me be clear. Arming teachers does nothing. People who have military and police training need to protect our children. Teachers teach, police serve and protect...We have the money. So, that isnt an issue.

A huge attboy to these kids for reinvigorating this topic. and, for doing what many of us should have done, and needed to do long ago.

Heads up. So be prepared for a less than amicable response to your proposed agenda. That is to rationalize why to take things away from law abiding people who have done nothing wrong and committed no crime. It has nothing to do with the NRA or their political activism either.

I do agree that the focus should be on the schools themselves though.

Again with the “common sense” buzzwords, yet you spell out no “common sense” proposals.

Read the article, I think you will agree with the law. I do. What’s ****ed up is that there is need for the law.

I read it. I don’t really agree with the law which I interpret to be let the kids somewhat govern themselves. But the premise sounds valid near the bottom. CPS doesn’t need to be called if somebody sees a kid unattended for 30 seconds. I view the premise largely a return to how those of us in our 50’s were raised.

Clarification: I think the intent was somewhat valid. I expect this to get abused. Thus my “ this is gonna end well” statement.

What do you mean a staggering number of people? The 2nd amendment applies to every single American. Who says that certain types of ammo are only meant for police and military? Show me where it says that in the constitution.

How many times has it been said that not ALL teachers will be armed? That narrative continues to be pushed just like "common sense" gun laws. I'd be willing to bet the farm that what you think is common sense doesn't match what I consider common sense.

Grown folks pushing kids out in front of this faux issue just shows how spineless they really are.

I think it's more "Let the parents do the raising"

Those offering up the vague “Common sense” approach are those who know absolutely nothing about guns.

It’s just leftist jack wads using populist demagoguery to capitalize on singular events to demonize their resistors and mobilize the ignorant to willingly give up their rights.

Wow Ras would be proud of me on that mouthful!

They're doing it because their message is tired and old and they think the same message from a fresh group of "victims" will get more traction.

They just did an interview and a kid, said she didn't support civilians carrying AUTOMATIC WEAPONS. Every single interview they do is just as dumb as the one before it. These people have zero clue about guns or laws and the sheep just flock to it.

EDIT: Just saw a sign that read. "Why is it harder to get my drivers license than it is to get a gun"

Lets see.... 1. You can't purchase any firearm legally at 16
2. You just suck at driving.

It's the mob/social media mentality. These kids don't know how to think for themselves. They're told what to say and how to view things. They see their latest pop star tweet something and then accept it as new movement. This is the cool thing to do now. Last month it was tide pods.

Hundreds of thousands of guns will be purchased legally today just because of this. Every single time the left starts talking about gun control. The legal sale of firearms skyrocket.

I'm so ticked about this I'm going out and exercise my second amendment on some targets.

On a serious and funny note, I changed the barrel out on an AR10 yesterday at my business. Wanted to test fire it to make sure the gas tube was aligned properly ect.. I'm in the county so it's perfectly legal. I do this once or twice a year and my neighbors call 911 on me every time. No difference yesterday. The police came 10 min after I stopped and said there were reports of loud explosions coming from the business. I told him what we were doing and he laughed and said carry on.

Go look at any internet gun or gun supply site. All have disclaimers about huge demand and how far behind they are. Palmeto state is out 8-10 days now. The liberals are the best gun salesmen out there. I wonder if the industry contributes to their campaigns? 🤣
