He did start there and played a lot well too. He had a bad injury and never really got back to normal.

I don't think people realize Chryst was playing. Last year half a year removed from tearing ACL in the bowl game prior. It's pretty obvious in clips he doesn't move as well last yr as he did the year before. Be interesting to see how he looks this year fully recovered

Those picking the over how many sure things you counting? I see three, with three maybe four toss up games. I see 7 as our likely ceiling, 8 wins would be amazing considering our issues. Cellar would be 5 IMO. Four would mean a VN meltdown.

Initial word out of Morgantown is a horrid D line. Big questions with their o line as well, but they always have a weak O line. I think our D keeps them in check, and we score just enough to win this win, will be ugly tho.

Ha, was talking to my buddy about that today as well. Also how they will send someone up to play lb from the backfield, and they always get ran over. Their coverage is horrible on the edge. They have some speed, but they're small.

Some Tennessee fans, and others, are overestimating WV, IMO. They feast on low level Big 12 defenses, but seldom beat more talented teams. If you look at the 247 team talent rankings, their talent level is about like Vanderbilt.

The only reason WV might be favored next fall is because Tennessee has a brand new coaching staff and systems. I'd still give the edge to UT.

Well yeah but it's top heavy. Has been with Bama for a while with Georgia just joining them. There's some slightly above average teams but about 6-8 that are just awful. Us, Florida, ole miss, Missouri, vandy, Kentucky. All very very bad. Last year of course. Hope it's better this year.

Agreed they don’t have our talent in some places, but they do have some talent that fits their system and they’ve had coaching stability. WVU will be a dog fight, I think.

They have one of the top QB’s in the nation. Unless he gets injured I don’t see a win.

I listen to this wvu crap all the time here. They will have a good qb that forced a lot of passes as the year went on, decent rb, a highly overrated wr that they just throw it up for grabs and he high balls good, good hands but slow in stills. O line always so so and the whole defense will be pretty new and inexperienced players and the first game of the year. I think ut has a very big advantage playing early and not really have a lot of film on what we are going to do either with new qb, rb and all new schemes. Pressure will be key on Grier and a lot of chances for big plays both on offense and defensive turnovers.

We're coming off our worst season in modern history, had a bad recruiting class (at least for a program that wants to contend in the SEC), and we're bleeding players. I doubt we will even see a bowl game again this decade. Maybe we'll be in the Liberty Bowl by 2020. 2021 will be a rebuilding year and we'll have another coach by 2022. You heard it hear first.
