The real issue is that it’s not sustainable

Truth. It’ll get you quick results but you better have a maintenance strategy.

Of course, if a man is content with a crap ton of veggies, you’d be shocked how far 500 could go.

About 1,200 is my sustainable level if I’m cutting fat, and I cycle that. Usually only need one day of that a week on my set up

I don't see how herbivores have any fat on them. It really is amazing how much you can eat volume wise of veggies with very little calories. I'm doing ok, I am really just trying to shed a lot quick right now, but I will start eating more protein soon. I'll eventually get up to around 900-1000 calories a day and still lose 5-10 a month once I lose enough to get out and walk a lot. I could drop it a lot faster if I could strenuously exercise more, but without painkillers that ain't happening for me.

Give me wins over the cupcakes, KY, Vandy, and let’s see how we stack vs SC and Mizzou. Fundamentals, competitiveness, scheme and development is what I want to see

I can see all your game threads already:

We could win, butttttt...dat OL.

Seeing pictures of our OL is depressing especially considering they are bigger than before yet still small. Even more depressing when you then look at UGA OL on their first practice and they are huge

I thought it was pretty fun watching the practice video. These coaches seem like they are going to be demanding and meticulous. It was intense out there on every rep.

Not sure how good we'll be in year 1 but I have a feeling we'll be mean and play hard.

I think getting to a bowl game is a reasonable goal for this year with the OL issues. Anything above that is probably gravy.

The expectation for year 1 needs to simply be improvement. This team will be much more disciplined and tougher than last year. The OL will be patchwork for the most part so Helton's ability to scheme around that using screens and rolling the QB out to slow down the opponents' pass rush will be critical. On the defensive side, we have got to improve our rush defense. We have been horrible in that aspect of the game the last couple of years and last year in particular. Shore up the rush D and develop a better pass rush and the D will be greatly improved. It's up to the coaches and players now. The good news is, this staff is known for being really good at player development so as long as they can maximize the talent we have we will see the improvement that should be the measuring stick for this upcoming season.

Imagine being a national laughing stock at UT for your coaching and press conferences, getting fired, taking an insignificant job at Bama, being called an intern, and going right back to being the butt of jokes again.
