Pruitt seems so much more relaxed and content after getting to coach on the field finally. He also seemed fairly happy with the first day effort and noted that he even saw some players technique improve from the beginning of practice to the end. Which is encouraging. Fant at RB is interesting.
Man these bombings in Austin need to stop. Its outta control. I think they're about to catch him but dang. 3 bombs just today is enough. Sorry for going off topic. Haha.
I actually think we may have a better season than what most may think. We have 3 areas where we can see major improvement. 1. Better position coaches 2. Quality strength and conditioning coach/program 3. Putting our best players on the field.
We will see if they take on the personality of their coach.
Similar to when people are unhappy with their job/boss, they dont do good work, if players hate their coach and dont respect him, the product will suffer. They kind of adapt a why bother attitude.
Supposedly it has to do with having your body get used to going after fat storage for energy since you barely eat any carbs, or something like that. Idk i was/am still skeptical and I figured it was just one of those fad diets but I saw my brother in law lose over 150 pounds on it. So I decided Id try it.
It's not a fad. I lost 15 lbs in the last month. I have done this diet for years, and I usually average about 10 lbs a month easy. I am going to try and lose 75-80 This time and then keep it off for good. I need to stay away from carbs for good this time, but I love bread, potatoes and pasta sooo much.
I don't know why you guys are so down on recruiting. Pruitt and his staff are known for being ace recruiters. We're going after the big fish.
I Just cannot look past that OL... especially without a proven QB. Such a recipe for disaster
If you Carb cycle, youll lose it quicker and itll stay off.
That is what I am seeing also. I just want them to toughen up and scrap, have better fundamentals and discipline. This season is going to be rough to watch, but if they will compete, I will cheer every step of the way.

I am eating as close to no carbs as is possible on week days, and eating what I want in moderate proportions on weekends. It seems to be working great so far. I don't do a true Keto. I eat almost exclusively green veggies and small portions of lean protein on weekdays. I am only taking in about 500 cals even though I am eating a lot to offset the sugar craving. I have experimented with this a lot over the years. I lose weight faster on a true Keto, but I don't feel as healthy. I like what I'm doing now, it is easy and the carb craving is not so bad.
