The women's game is officiated just as poorly as the men's. It's not because they are quick.

It’s absurd. Holly is so terrible. We just throw the ball up and hope it goes in. And guess what defense Oregon State went to that gave us problems? The zone. Holly has no clue. Hope Phil pulls the trigger on her before all prestige is lost from what Pat built.

They will not fire Holly because of Butch's buyout. Lady Vols could really sink to low depths.

here is the full list of former tennessee players scheduled to participate in monday's pro day:

Running back: John kelly.

Wide receiver: Logan fetzner, jeff george, thomas orradre, josh smith.

Tight end: Jakob johnson, ethan wolf.

Offensive line: Brett kendrick, jashon robertson, coleman thomas,

defensive line: Kahlil mckenzie, kendal vickers.

Linebacker: Elliott berry, colton jumper.

Defensive back: Evan berry, rashaan gaulden, justin martin, emmanuel moseley, shaq wiggins.

Specialists: Trevor daniel (punter), holden foster (kicker), aaron medley (kicker).

Tennessee is bringing in a couple of football championship subdivision quarterbacks to throw passes to the skill-position players in chattanooga's alejandro bennifield and ut martin's troy cook.

The LVs will fall further-- probably a lot further. A 3 seed LVs losing to a 6 seed when the men's 3 seed lost to an 11 seed is insurance for Holly. The worst Fulmer will do is delay giving her a raise and extension. Woo.

As my Avatar might demonstrate, I know a bit about this, especially since I wrestled for UT and later for the USA. Wrestling is the oldest sport in the Olympics and is one of the highest high school participation sports in the USA. For the kids who don't weigh 200+ pounds, run 4.4 40's, and can dunk at ease (i.e., the vast majority of athletes), it's tailor-made for them.

I always thought ice hockey was boring until I actually watched a game in person and I fell in love with it. Wrestling is the same animal. If you ever get to go see a college match in the Big 10 or Big 12, the place is electric and you'll get hooked quickly.

Btw, DRV, I've never "grabbed anybody in uncomfortable places" so if that's your thing, you might want to find another sport besides real wrestling.

I don't think Fulmer will fire her, but there is a difference between a three year head coach (SEC coach of the year, SEC champions) losing and Holly losing with her all-Americans in her sixth?? year.

Night and day difference. A team full of overachieving 3 stars versus a team full of underachieving McDonald's all Americans. The loss from last night stings but a little perspective is in order.
