I don't think that's a very bold prediction considering they expanded the field up to 10. So I can see it getting a nom just because they can get away with giving up a space because honestly 10 spots is too many.

Would you nominate any DCU or MCU movies to this point for best picture? As good as Ledgers performance was in The Dark Knight, I don't know anybody that would seriously consider it a BP award worthy film.

I do. DK was worthy of a nom for sure. They were robbed. My poli sci professor made us write a paper on it.

The Dark Knight not getting a best picture nomination was kind of a big deal back then and considered the biggest snub that year. And some will tell you it's the reason they went to 10 nominations.

DK definitely should have been nominated.

In a field of 10 I would say maybe Winter Soldier deserved a nod. Not saying it should have won but it’s probably the most worthy Marvel film to get one.
