That happened in 07 drawing Louisville and UNC as respective 1 and 3 seeds. Even drawing Butler as a 7 seed was death.

Judging by Lunardi's and Palm's brackets I'm going to guess we want to be ahead of Texas Tech. In Palm's I believe TTU gets the Dallas location because it's closer to them, but in Lunardi's we're ahead of them, so we get the Dallas slot in the midwest.

Yeah and UT put on a show against Mercer. We were painting the interior of a house and the home owner had the game on. Nothing got painted for 2 hours and he still gave us a great review on Facebook and tipped, well. I love day basketball during Championship week and those first 2 days of the NCAA Tourney

Bare minimum huh? For the 5th youngest team in thie country and that was picked to finish 13th in their conference with no postseason appearance of any kind?

Don’t forget that as a 3 seed we see a team such as...Kentucky, Florida, Texas A&M, Ohio State, Arkansas, Gonzaga etc. we’ve already lost this year to a team like Arkansas and Missouri, so saying I full on expect to win a game against a tough 6 seed is a little much for me as of today.

They haven’t been worse than a 4 seed since 2001.

Anything less than sweet 16 is going home early. And really if you’re a 1 seed you should be making the elite 8.

So “always” is an exaggeration but they have a history of getting knocked off very early for a top 4 seed.
