Bama also beat Rhode Island, who was a top 10 RPI before tonight, and Oklahoma. MSU played nobody out of conference except Cincinnati and lost.
Nowadays that OU win isn't looking nearly as good & stron as it originally did. For a good while that W was of great value. Now however, all but 1 of ole Boomer Sooner's wooden wagon wheels have fallen off. I'd imagine they'll lose that last wheel rather soon.

At this point in time they're still currently projected in the field as a 10 seed, but I think they'll miss out on dancing. They better hope 4 a miracle in the B10T, cuz their 17 wins wont cut it. Being losers of 7 outta 8 games this Feb says it all!

I don't have time to look for myself, so I'll just ask. How many Q1 wins does Mizzou, TX A&M, & UF have each? JW due to their projected seeding, & how MSU has a better record than all 3, even though I know that doesn't mean much of anything.

Ohh yeah, and how many Q1 wins for our beloved Vols?
Relevant SEC Q1 Records:

Auburn -- 8-6
Tennessee -- 7-7
Kentucky -- 3-7
Arkansas -- 6-7
Texas A&M -- 5-7
Missouri -- 6-7
Florida -- 9-4
Alabama -- 5-6
Mississippi State -- 3-7
Georgia -- 4-8

Georgia's got a better bubble shot than State at this point. Georgia needs to win their last two, both of which would be Q1 wins, but it's possible. State has nothing going for them besides their overall record which history states doesn't matter.

Texas A&M and Florida aren't really bubble teams. Both are probably in the 6/7 range. Missouri is probably 8/9. Alabama is right on the edge and is probably out if they lost at A&M.

Idk, I think GA would need to win their last 2 games, and atleast 1, maybe 2 in the SECT. Unless a team has a rly good RPI & SOS, they're not dancing with just 18-19 wins. It seems as if that magic number is typically 20.

The sooner are done unless they win their tourney imo..

What do the SEC teams look like after last night? We gonna get 8 in?

7 for sure IMO. Bama isn't looking so good. They're going to be underdogs this weekend at TAMU. And are likely to get a 9 seed - meaning they'd need to beat Auburn in the SECT to have a chance.

Their OU win though is light years better than any other OOC win by MSU. I agree that they are making it tough on themselves. But their resume is better than MSU.

Yea, because none of their other wins would’ve factored in to them getting in, SMH...time to let it go Ziti.

Yes but without the win against us they are on the outside looking in right now. And they didn't score in the last 7 minutes of that game.

You know me.... when have I ever let anything go?!?!?

And the same can be said for their Kentucky game, Bama game etc...it wasn’t just that 1 game.

Being ahead of auburn isn't good enough to get Nashville?

Lunardi does not want us in Nashville. If the first two rounds were in Birmingham, then Auburn would deserve to go there. If it is a close call, then the NCAA will put us over Auburn in Nashville.

Other than that, I like that bracket.
