I honestly don’t care who the Rs trotted out to run. I was not going to vote for Hilary. Some of you need to wrap your head around that. If you run another dishonest POS in 2020 it will happen again.

If the Trump tower meeting was illegal. Hillary's campaign funding the Steel dossier was illegal.

How would you not consider the Steele dossier dirt from a foreign government? It was given to Steele by the Russian government. Clinton paid for it (as did the DNC) Is there a loophole for using a middle man?

OTOH - Team Trump got nothing from the June meeting.

Fun side note - Fusion talked with supposed source of said dirt just before the meeting and just after - sounds pretty fishy eh?

Nothing illegal or improper...but of course a bunch of legal scholars could drag on an on about a 20 minute conversation I guess, and opine otherwise.
Blown a bit outta proportion, reeks of desperation...this episode was embarrassing for Jr I'd imagine, at most, but that does not mean it was criminal. He didn't do anything treasonous, that's for sure.

As the NY Times notes, "Lying to federal investigators is a crime; lying to the news media is not." Even if the elder Trump wrote the statement attributed to his son with the intent of deceiving the press and the public about the motivation for the meeting with Veselnitskaya, that would not be illegal.

What part of I wasn’t going to vote for Hilary is hard for you to understand? She is now and has always been a POS. Has nothing to do with Russia Russia Russia.

yup in 20 minutes they plotted the coup that would overthrow the democratically elected president Hillary.

I don't know about you guys, but I can't get everyone seated in the first 20 minutes of my meetings.

also that same Russian agent met with Fusion GPS before and after the meeting with Trump. willing to bet those were longer than 20 minutes.

You said election law forbids receiving dirt from foreign sources.

The dossier was compiled as opposition research prior to the election.

Team Clinton and the DNC received this dirt prior to the election.

Fits your definition.

In addition, testimony shows Steele was shopping the information well before the election. Signs point to a Yahoo News story in September that was based on the Steele info.

If you say it's only a foul of election law if said dirt is used (which is not the law) show me where Team Trump USED any foreign generated dirt (let alone received any).
