#BoycottNRA

If anyone could purchase prescription drugs in any amount and resale those drugs to anyone they wish. Do you think our drug "crisis" would be better, worse, or exactly the same?

If we had unlimited abortions, would the situation get better, worse, or exactly the same?

I thought Gary Johnson was actually the best candidate and most qualified. I was resigned to the worst candidate in the modern era winning the presidency. I mean Hillary here. I was in CA on business the night of the election. It was glorious. 😬

You argue she wasn’t the worst, most unelectable candidate in the modern era? She couldn’t even beat a reality TV star dude...

Edit: btw keep doing drive by cracks like that and I’m gonna buy into GVs idea you’re an LG alt

I don't think I've mentioned Hillary. I was fine with her. Not my favorite (I voted for Sanders in the primary), but she was qualified and competent. Dems made lots of mistakes in the campaign, that's for sure.

How far should we go to mitigate these problems is where the debate battleground is, luther. If we don't have a 50+ year track record of liberals gradually moving the goal posts every so often, we might be able to reach a reasonable compromise. The fear on this side of the argument now is "if we give up ground on this, the liberals will come back around after the next event and demand something else". You all are not honest negotiators. In 50 years, we went from a felon like Malcolm X being able to use a gun to protect himself after his time has been served to now we have handguns banned in some of our larger urban areas. We went from high school kids being able to bring hunting rifles to school in their trucks to now looking at making 21 years old the legal age to buy a rifle.

I would just use the "reasonable and rational" rule. If you don't think it is reasonable and rational, you shouldn't support it. If you think it is reasonable and rational, you should.

Many seem to have the stance of "We can't agree to it even if it is reasonable and rational because the next thing may not be." That's where the NRA has been a problem.

Bernie got screwed. At least he was honest in his stance and owned it.

I absolutely refute she was qualified and competent and submit her record in state Dept as my evidence. She literally got people killed as far as I’m concerned.

But that’s a totally different topic and debate.

Again, that would be a concern if there hasn't been a 50 year track record of liberals moving the goal posts. Now that the 2A people have dug themselves in, you want to call them unreasonable when in reality, they have given up a bunch of ground over the last few decades.

Completely uninspiring. Worst possible candidate to push, and they did it. Serves them right. Now we get to deal with a dumbass like trump. Thanks dnc.

No, I used Middle East insurgents as a recent example of what our military has gone through for 2-3 decades in the Middle East. Imagine how difficult it would be with just 20 million gun owners (this country has a lot more than 20 million, btw).

And what are they gonna shoot at the tanks, fighter jets, drones, and ballistic missiles bearing down on them?

We are on the same page in those regards.

OK... I'm done with you. You aren't even being intellectually honest. At least when you asked the same regarding prescription drugs, I admitted you might see an uptick.

But somehow, you think unlimited/unregulated abortions would make the current situation better?

You're a joke.

So this is a dangerous turn in statement from you. That is a defeatist stance to justify not even trying to defend against tyranny and that kind of thinking would have us still sending revenue to London.

The British army was the most powerful fighting force the world had seen to that time. And the British navy ruled the waves.

Ummmmm. I think he’s being intellectually honest man. 🤐

Basically, luther thinks having no limits on a Constitutionally protected right will be bad for society, but having unlimited abortions will make society better.

And in his mind it makes perfect sense somehow. That was why I said he was being intellectually honest.

Its classic nonsense how the left and right both embrace and reject the same line of reasoning. depending on subject.
