We don't care about the monetary benefits or your fake moral authority. Give it a few weeks to start hearing about layoffs and such, just like Kelloggs.

How many companies have rushed forward seeking to enter (or affirm existing) partnerships with the NRA since the shooting?

Many on here may not like it, but it looks like a good number of major corporations are looking to wash their hands of the NRA (15 or so currently).

Will that make a difference for rank and file member numbers? Probably not. In fact, it may galvanizes them. But it will also send a message to non-members that the NRA is an extreme organization that's outside of the mainstream. And if the NRA is viewed as such, their cache with politicians will start to decline.

Bash me if you wish, but just trying to forecast where this is going if the noisy exits from NRA partnerships continue at the current pace.

15 whole companies? Jesus. Well that’s it guys, end of the road. I’d say time to get out of town but without those discounts you can’t rent a car or hire movers.

The GOP refuses to compromise? Have you seen the orange liberal they elected? He’s even trying to ban bump stocks. He’s the first president to ever support gay marriage from day 1 in office. Obama and Hillary spent years saying marriage should be between a man and a woman.

The idea that the gop doesn’t compromise is the most absurd suggestion ever. They compromise too much. It’s why I despise them.

Just how are they extreme organization? I keep hearing this but I've not heard one specific thing that makes them extreme. They're no more extreme than the organizations and politicians that oppose them. In many ways they are less extreme.

My point is not that this will really affect rank and file members. I acknowledged it may galvanize them. However, when mainstream companies like Delta, United, Avis, etc. (rumors that BofA may do something to) disavow their relationship with the NRA, that sends a message to regular middle-of-the-road Joes who are neither pro- nor anti-NRA that the NRA is not in the mainstream.

What's hillariuos is those all those companies did was run off customers, not the other way around. My guess is that they approached the NRA originally wanting to offer discounts to attract NRA members. All they said when they withdrew their association was "We don't want NRA members to spend their money with us". These idiots don't understand this. It's hilarious how stupid they can be.
