#BoycottNRA

When legislators fail to do the right thing in our Republic, it's much easier these days for the masses to effectuate necessary change. This is a good first step.

The NRA is being supported by these companies – ThinkProgress

While you waste time pushing gun legislation our kids sit in school unprotected everyday. I think its safe to say, after allowing 500 million guns and 1 billion large magazines into service, the gun control train has left the station. The only tack available is security, real security.

I think it is great when people make monetary choices with moral and social considerations. That's really the only way that capitalism can truly work (an educated public is also a key component).

I think the list should be posted everywhere. People who disagree with the company's decision should boycott their products, people who agree with the company's decisions should go out of their way to support those companies.

I personally feel there are far more people that view the NRA as a negative than as a positive.

That's because they no nothing about the NRA.

You will now be accused of being an NRA member welcome to the fold. And they kept harping on it so much I went ahead and joined yesterday!

Hey dummy you left United Airlines off the list. I gave you the info above.

The MSM is now trying to claim their hate is against the NRA as an organization, not the millions of members who make it up

Lol. I guess they realize this week long tantrum isn’t working out like they planned

Damn. My company is on that list.

Damn. My company is on that list.

It doesn’t mean anything as you know. In fact several of these companies listed had already made the decision prior to Parkland. Chubb Insurance sounds like just a business decision as it was underwriting NRA member CHL insurance.

The people frothing at the mouth and spamming the list don’t really give you any context though.

Luth I believe the actual response by an overwhelming majority on any side in about two weeks time will be a solid “wut/who” just like it always is. And I point to voter turnout percentages to confirm my point.

You are probably right. Which is how we continue to cycle through the same crap on pretty much every issue (regardless of side).

My hope is that we are seeing one of those rare moments when the public outcry and activism rises to that level of critical mass at which it can no longer be ignored.

The youth getting involved is almost always a sign of reaching the tipping point. Hopefully they have the staying power.

This is going to get interesting. Most of those companies give discounts through other orgs/businesses. Someone at some point is going to take one of them to court for discrimination.

I'm sorry, are you suggesting that it's illegal (discriminatory) for a company to pull it's advertising from the NRA?

I want what you're smoking man.

Nope you’re not seeing anything different this time. And the youth have already redirected their self righteous anger towards the chicken **** former deputy. And rightfully so.
