TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

So the stupid people stayed home?

Or...

The people voted for Trump overwhelmingly in the last election. Probably will again much to your dismay. But felt they already knew what they were getting in the candidate they elected since she had already served twice in the State House. And likely weren't too keen on electing the wife of an accused child molester that defended him to the nth degree. And let's not even forget his racist Tweets either.

Never mind. You're right. It HAS to be an anti-Trump movement. Nothing else fits.

It could be what his original statement was that it is "Sign of things to come. Mid terms should be interesting." The overwhelming Trump supporters might not come out and vote in droves in the "mid terms".

Hmmmm... yep. It is. People HATE Trump.

Blue wave is coming to wash out Congress in midterms...

So the stupid people stayed home?

Maybe it was a flawed candidate the Repub had?
Her husband committed suicide recently, and allegedly sexual allegations against a teenager...unfortunately that had nothing to do with her, but people in small communities whisper.

Not a great example...

Roy Moore was an historically flawed candidate, coupled with a major scandal that ironically came to light just weeks before the race ended ...but he had a very controversial history of barely sliding by or losing over the past 30 years. Alabama not a great example, but what Doug Jones managed to do is come center, with conservative values... in addition he was fortunate to get with Joe Trippi who really guided him in messaging etc. Trippi understands whats going on 'inside' America, he's brilliant; had he not come down...likely a different story.

Obviously Trump wasn't a Roy Moore supporter, his support was in Luther Strange, who would have won...
But, down in Alabama was Steve Bannon who was an incredible ally to Democrats. He went out of his way to promote a fringe candidate who could not win a general election...Bannon's obsession with ‘sending a message’ to Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell, gave Jones a major win in the 5th-most conservative state in the nation.

Additionally, no one in the GOP wanted Roy Moore in DC. Many spoke out publicly that he would be an stain on the GOP.

Voting is always down in midterms. Not sure you can attribute that to Trump (not that you won't give it a whirl).

I can't wait for TrumpPutingate IV the REAL beginning of the end. LG's month has come and gone.

Well! It's on the way! Mueller has only peeled the first layer of the "onion." He has some of the country's best lawyers, each specializing in a specific sector of the business world. In addition, he is supported by our intel agencies(but you can't trust them :jpshakehead:). Hooray for the U.S.A.!

The last election has been over for a year, and still and tRump and the tRumplicans are spiking the ball and doing nothing to stop communist meddling in our elections. Whatever tRump is hiding is doing harm, it's risking national security to do so.

and with all the best he has caught two liars, who were only liars because of the investigation, and a bunch of unconnected Russian trolls. oh yeah he dusted off a 10 y.o. case as well. good job.

it may just be me, but I hire the best and am going after such an obvious problem I expect some real results.

dude, I can't wait for Trump to get his day in court. until then I wait and don't bite on every hook CNN sends down the creek. apparently not believing EVERYTHING means I am a die hard Trump supporter. I don't even know if I would piss on him to put out a fire, only reason I might is the reward. the whole thing has become so politicized the left has left no room for due process.

A new indictment has long been expected in special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s prosecution of Manafort and his right-hand man, Rick Gates, on fraud and money laundering charges. Manafort served as President Trump’s campaign chairman from June to August 2016. Gates also served as a top official on Trump’s campaign. The new indictment contains 32 counts, including tax charges.

The new charges are related to alleged false tax returns, bank fraud and failure to report foreign financial accounts.

These Charges are in addition to the new charges filed yesterday.

The charges filed Thursday include:

• 16 counts related to false individual income tax returns

• seven counts of failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts

• five counts of bank fraud conspiracy

• four counts of bank fraud

Looks like No Plea for Gates. Yet

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/02/22/mueller-target-rick-gates-sealed-hearing-in-washington-court.html

A federal judge has scheduled a hearing for Friday on a request by lawyers for Rick Gates to withdraw from representing the top Trump campaign official in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.

The sealed hearing schedule was disclosed Thursday, a day after reports emerged that Gates and former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort were hit with additional charges. The new charges, which were sealed, are on top of the ones they were already facing, which include conspiracy to commit money laundering, lying to federal investigators and failure to register as foreign agents.

Funny how these stories all throw Trump's name into the articles, about something from 11-12 years ago, that has zero to do with Trump, the campaign or Russian counterintelligence investigation.

That is a fact he worked for the campaign and transition. Information must scare the hell out of you.
