If those kids think that’s a groundswell they are silly. And a ban is no where near the table. That died yesterday. There is no other ban bill currently. Additionally it looks like most if not all of the measures are being discussed elsewhere. And they are not saying ban.

And if you wanted to make a strong quote statement why not quote this?

Are you proposing that there is a correlation between the ratings of a news station and its legitimacy as a news source? If so, that proves why you watch Fox. If not, why make the point.

The point is if CNN or MSNBC was so trust worthy and reported more "facts". Why are they not racking up ratings? I would watch those channels more if they told more facts than any other news source but they don't.

I’d probably buy everybody on here a beer if they’d be willing to sit down and talk about it face to face. And I’m pretty sure it would be civil.

I’d buy ole Luth two beers with a scotch backer just for the beating he’s taken. Don’t and won’t ever agree with him I think but don’t hate him.

Context gets lost in online debates. And this thread is getting long on the tooth too.

Which is the more important life sustaining knowledge, the number of rounds fired per minute by an AR 15, or the fact that Waffle House has the best waffles? You tell me.
