Mass shooting of the week, high school in parkland, FL.

You think the families of those killed and maimed by the crock pot bombs at the Boston Marathon give a **** about the purpose of a crock pot?

Pressure Cooker. A crock pot would have only kept the nails and ball bearings warm and delicious.

You don’t even realize what you’ve just stated. That’s right Luther, anything can be used to kill.

Of course I know what I just stated. You must have me confused with squirts.

It's you, I guess, that is missing the point.

The fact that something can be used to kill, even on a large scale, does not mean it should be banned.

The fact that something is DESIGNED to kill on a large scale does mean it should be banned.

Even if said device can be used for good?

You need an AR15 for what precisely? Tell me what you need an AR15 with a bump stock and a 100 round magazine for?

From my studies of the history of the Revolutionary period, the development of the Constitution and the Founders, I quite frankly believe the majority of the Founders would be aghast at the difference between the firepower in the hands of the government vs. that the people are currently limited to by that same government.

If the good that can be done grows to outweigh the original intent of the design, which is to easily and efficiently take human life, then maybe it would be worth discussion. That is certainly not the case with assault weapons or AR 15s.

Do you or have you ever owned a gun? Have you ever fired a gun? Held a gun? Seen one in person?

Legally buy a machine gun you say?....

Where at? I'd like to add one to my collection

Machine guns were banned from import and manufacture or civilian use in 1982. O that means the one's in public hands are the only ones available. You have to purchase one from someone who owns one. It has to be transferred to you through the ATF. This means you have to go through an extensive background check. The process can take a year. It cost $200 for the transfer. Needless to say hey are very expensive due to very limited supply. Last I checked, an M16 can cost as much as $20,000.

Question for Luther. If a guy gets drunk and shoots is neighbor, do you blame the gun, the alcohol, or the guy? What if it was an accident?

I do not own a gun. I use to hunt and target shoot in my late teens, early 20s. Took trap and skeet shooting as a PE class in college. We had to load our own shells before class.
