I know this will be hard for you to imagine, Luther. You may want to sit down for this, are you ready?
Groups do not have rights, only the individual.
Replace the tin foil hat with your thinking cap (you may want to dust it off first). A collection of individuals is called a group. A collection of individuals joined together in a group now called our Founding Fathers. A collection of 9 individuals put on robes and are known as the group that makes up the Supreme Court. A collection of individuals make up the groups we call the House of Representatives and Senate.
You may want to lay down for this one. Individuals don't make laws, groups do.
Of which I was not in total agreement with considering the notification portion was sorely lacking.
I agree with the principle that someone on the terror watch list probably shouldn't be allowed to purchase a firearm. However, they do need to be notified and be able to plead their case in a court of law if they are.
Criteria for putting someone on that list is certain a topic of debate as well. And I'm pretty sure that criterion would be something special if liberals get their hands on it.
They are what is known as variables. In this case a debatable and negotiable unknown. If you want numbers to jump on, go berserk over, and hyperventilate to; make x = 10 and y = 60.
So your numbers indicate a total ban then with the exception of black powder rifles and archery. See how easy that is? Now you can say what you actually mean and not dance around the issue anymore. I can shoot a single shot at 6 seconds per round, more accomplished shooters probably knock that down to 3 or so.
Who decides what is reasonable? Someone like you who doesnt know the first thing about firearms?
A representative sampling of the society in which we live.

Are you really this stupid, he said rights, not make laws. I thought you said you were a school teacher. Hopefully nothing more than Kindergarten.
