TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

There is inherent bias in all reporting, some less than others. Fox News does not even remotely come close to reputable journalism.

Agreed. Why does Fox News have 8 of top 10 shows on tv?Although it occurs, Fox News is not overwhelmingly posted here...it's certainly nowhere near the amount of CNN 'gotcha now Trump' spin posted.

CNN and Fox News both had a high trust rating overall, but there is more of a dispute between ideological groups about whether they're trustworthy. For example, 88% of consistent conservatives said they trust Fox News, but only 14% said they trust CNN.

For the study, Pew surveyed a representative sample of randomly selected Americans, polling nearly 3,000 people in 2014.

These are the most and least trusted news outlets in America

Because they masquerade as news when they are an entertainment network for Trump supporters.

That’s false. They are a center slight right conservative network. They do an decent job of keeping it balanced.
Why I watch them, is they cover things that the mainstream media doesn’t cover.

Mueller's interest in Kushner grows to include foreign financing efforts - CNNPolitics

Special counsel Robert Mueller's interest in Jared Kushner has expanded beyond his contacts with Russia and now includes his efforts to secure financing for his company from foreign investors during the presidential transition, according to people familiar with the inquiry.

This is the first indication that Mueller is exploring Kushner's discussions with potential non-Russian foreign investors, including in China.
US officials briefed on the probe had told CNN in May that points of focus related to Kushner, the White House senior adviser and son-in-law of President Donald Trump, included the Trump campaign's 2016 data analytics operation, his relationship with former national security adviser Michael Flynn, and Kushner's own contacts with Russians.

Who is saying this? If it’s being leaked, why?

“according to people familiar with the inquiry.”

Oh my. FEC violation by Trump heating up. He looks guilty as **** here, and now Cohen's admission may force them to launch investigation.

Once again, Cohen's language has been parsed, and now I agree it can be interpreted that Cohen did not actually make the $130 K payment himself...

"...Cohen’s carefully worded statement said: “I used my own personal funds to facilitate a payment of $130,000 to Ms. Stephanie Clifford. Neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction with Ms. Clifford, and neither reimbursed me for the payment, either directly or indirectly.”

But Cohen’s statement admitted only that he used his personal funds for facilitating the payment, not the payment itself. The facilitation, Noble said, could simply have been the cost of setting up a Delaware Limited Liability Corporation through which, according to the Wall Street Journal, the payment was made
.

Cohen’s statement did not specifically say whether he also made the actual payment, leaving open the possibility that others — Trump himself, a friend, a corporation or even a foreign national — may have put up the funds
."

Michael Cohen screwed up with Stormy Daniels statement, ex-FEC lawyer says

Wow. Another bombshell.

You for sure got him now.

I would not expect you to know. "since May" I've heard about it months ago but I'm sure you haven't even though to question it. I'm sure I've mentioned it. And that is why Rosenstein said "this indictment". Ole Kushner has not meet with any committee or Mueller as far as I know but he did meet with Russians in Trump Tower. He had access to the voter databases and It don't take a genius to see the Russians were strategic in the areas they targeted. Almost like they knew.

Yes VP. Yes. We know....

I consider myself right of center, and I gotta say that's not Fox. They will outright ignore newsworthy stories that are critical of Trump or Republicans, just like CNN does with Clinton and Democrats. They're about as right as you get in a major network. I find that taking both with a grain of salt allows the "truth" to rise to the surface.

I find it best to take out the adjective and adverbs from a reputable source for the sliver of fact and then allow the questions of inquire for the truth be the guide.

Relax angry pants. I was just asking questions.
It’s your world though, my bad.

That’s fair in many cases. They are playing to a certain audience, as all are. You’re not gonna change someone’s partisan beliefs regardless.

Political scientists rank Trump last, Lincoln first in greatness survey - CNNPolitics

Former Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan enjoyed upward bumps in their greatness rankings, while President Donald Trump was ranked historically low, according to a presidential "greatness" survey released Monday.

Overall, Trump came in dead last. The seven greatest presidents, according to respondents, remained unchanged from the same survey's results in 2014, the previous time it was taken. In order, they were Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Theodore Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson, Harry S. Truman and Dwight Eisenhower.

Obama came in eighth, up 10 spots from 18th in 2014. George W. Bush moved up five spots, from 35th to 30th. Reagan also moved into the top 10, ranking ninth. In 2014, he was at 11.

He is "right of center" and I'm left of center but he is not polarizing. I agree with most of what he says. There are many to the right that can see what is going on. Bring it in to reality.
