Mass shooting of the week, high school in parkland, FL.

And yet their 10 year ban had no impact on the actual statistics. Thus for your piece of mind and convenice and for no other reason what so ever I am supposed to give something up? GTFO

Unless you are actually inferring seizure of existing firearms already in the population which are purchased legally? Good luck with that one. Never going to happen. And out of curiosity when the speed limit was lowered to 55 did they retroactively issue speeding tickets? I repeat. Seizure and confiscation on a federal scale will never ever happen. So I guess you better buckle up for your own piece of mind!

Wrong.

And, yes, someday you may be forced to give up your precious assault weapon via buyback. Tough ****.

The Colt AR-15 is a lightweight, 5.56×45mm, magazine-fed, gas-operated semi-automatic rifle. It was designed to be manufactured with the extensive use of aluminum alloys and synthetic materials. It is a semi-automatic version of the United States military M16 rifle. Colt's Manufacturing Company currently uses the AR-15 trademark for its line of semi-automatic AR-15 rifles that are marketed to civilian and law-enforcement customers.

Add a bump stock and whammy, you've got a fully automatic MILITARY WEAPON OF WAR.

Take the damn bump stock. You won’t get an argument from most people. They are stupid and waste ammo.

You already quoted this pages back and this post is the basis for my refuting argument. I reject your data and posted the data from the FBI.

Your data is incorrect. The number of incidents and victims remained flat. The year with the largest number of victims occurred near the END of the ban period.

You. Are. Wrong!!!

For the 12th time, you graph isn't proof of anything. All the "assault weapons" in existence on 12/31/1993 still existed on 1/1/94. They were still for sale, as well as the magazines to go with them. If you didn't want to buy a 30 round mag 20's were plentiful.

I would also be suspect of the definition of "massacre", I'm assuming they moved the goalposts around to get the chart to look like they wanted.

On the topic of bump stocks it’s come up several time s. I think they’re really dumb but some probably want them so they can debate that.

As a minimum I would guess they are going to be reviewed for reclassification which I personally don’t have a problem with.

Welcome to the actual debate.

I've been in the actual debate. I have proposed these types of regulations for years and sense day one on this board.

Side note....Bill Gates should run for president. He makes Trump look like a 3 year old spoiled brat.

We have enough restrictions already.

I don’t have a problem with Bill Gates running for president and could easily see a pedigree for him to make a claim. That being said I mostly likely would not vote for Bill Gates.

He’d probably be a better candidate than Oprah!!

Another liberal wuss. No thanks.

He is the opposite of Trump on most every major issue.

I don’t disagree. But I do question the hell out of what the evaluator was thinking on the initial bump stock classification submittal. Technically I’m not proposing another restriction I’m just pointing to a specific items FFA classification. And I really do think it’s going to get reviewed again.

Children being murdered s funny to you?

Question for any of you pro assault weapon dimwits:

What pray tell do you need an AR15 with a bump stock and a 100 round magazine for exactly?!?!

Mainly to piss you off.

I don't own an AR, have no interest in getting one. There's lots of guns I don't own and don't have an interest in owning. Doesn't mean I don't think law abiding citizens shouldn't have access to them.

No, it’s not funny that politicians create laws that leave people utterly defenseless.

I don’t have a slide fire stock. I do own several drum mags for the rpk and ak47’s I own. What do I need with them? I want them, simple as that.

They have no answer. It's a personality flaw; borderline mental health issue.

Arguments like this are crazy while students are at risk. This needs to be taken seriously and steps need to be taken when school opens next week. Something radical and immediate like, Parents in the Parking Lot, unarmed but checking everyone going and coming into the school. One 8 hour shift per parent each month would get the job done. Once they are protected then we can discuss/debate long term solutions.

See my comments above on bump stocks.

I submit that magazine capacity has neglible impact on ROF. Prove me wrong. You’re the one arguing your point so argue it.

I wouldn’t own a 100 round magazine personally. That would be heavy as hell.

Will you alllow me to keep my M9 bayonet system for my colt LE6920? ( hint: it’s a trap!!)

Methods of actively protecting the children. ACTIVE protection. I like it!!

That’s the only bullet you have - deflection.

When you can’t control the narrative, it’s somehow everyone else’s fault, not that we’d expect rational discourse.
