That’s a crazy idea. That you’d do anything to stop one person from dying? How far are you willing to take that.

I bet a mandatory helmet law while driving would save more than one person.

Mandatory home inspections by the police could likely stop crimes and save lives.

A mandatory chip in cars preventing them from going above 25 mph would also save lives

I bet a ban on driving after midnight for non commercial purposes would too.

Maybe those are valid ideas congress should entertain.

It won’t stop a single one. That’s the point. You need to reconcile intent and move forward from there. Why does the intention exist? How do we mitigate this intention? These are the questions you need to be asking. It is inconceivable how anyone can commit these atrocities, and therein lies the problem. If you can’t ratinaolize the action, why blame an inanimate object?

Requiring a hunting license and safety certification is peanuts to a jar of marbles.

I was thinking maybe bringing back selective service in an attempt to get a better pysch. read on the kids, and a better respect for what guns do.

I quickly realized it's not economically feasible and would probably just make for more skilled mass murderers.

If you take away assault rifles you still have the number one deadliest school shooting with the VaTech massacre that was done with a pistol, also the horrible Dylan Roof church slaughter and the dude that went into the Antioch church in TN and killed a handful of people.

The hot thing in Europe last year and in America for Halloween they were using large vehicles to run people down.

It's really as simple as the old saying "Guns don't kill people, people kill people". Hard to put a ban on people.

But I’m gonna go with I’ll do my part if we’re figjting within the sovereign boundaries of the United States. And especially if I’m sitting off at 400 yds with my 4-16x42 scope on my ‘06 plinking fish in a barrel.
