Beautiful gun. Those are going to sell very, very well.

Member of our church security team is planning to buy a G43. He is Blue Label eligible, so I sent him to one of our local B/L Glock dealers. They told him the G42 and G43 are back-ordered by at least a week. No big deal in this case, but Glocks are flying off the shelf down here. The G19X is going to join that list. If I weren't a ".45 or nothing" dinosaur, I would most definitely look at (pronounced "buy") a 19X just based on what I've read.

I’m a .45 guy myself. The wife has a 9mm so I figured I should get one as well.

Just picked up a new Mossberg Silver Reserve II O/U for $519 at the LGS! Looks like a great gun for not spending $2K. We will see on Saturday.

My father is going to hate this thread. He's fully retired in the last year, and he loves getting his discounts with his retired ID.

I told him about the Blue Label program. He just said "Oh, your mom is gonna be pissed..."

Haven't read the whole thread so I'm trying to piece this together. Blue Label is a discount program and military are eligible? Does that include retirees? Sounds like it's for Glocks?

Been where you are. R-E-L-A-X. You made a good purchase. What difference will a couple of days make? You shoot it next weekend instead of this?

I have to laugh, not at you but with you. I have gone through the exact same thing before, and likely will again.

You bought a beautiful gun. And it's a Glock. That gun will likely serve you well to your final days. So relax.

And now I have to send my beloved Rock off to Armscor for Trijicon sights and a "tightening up", which is a 3 week turnaround. Although I have my G30S and Springfield to comfort me...I love my Rock.

Feel free to remind me of my advice to you when I pine openly for when my Rock returns home.

Maybe GV can loan you his Abrams M1A1 until your Glock arrives.

I’ve been there before and likely will again. It’s a vicious cycle. I’m just impatient (and have other guns to keep me “happy”). 😬

Not really a workaround. All the venders say it is strictly by the letter per Glock. The only way to get around it would be if our 911 fell under the SO or PD, unfortunately we are completely separate agency here. So as usual we are over looked. Oh well that's life. I have tried emailing Glock about it but have never gotten a response.

Like I said before, beautiful gun. Lucky you.

Please do not post any more pics of this gun, targets you shot, or make any further comments regarding what a sweet-shooting gun it is. Twice already I have had to hand my wife my Visa card, and tell her not to give it back to me for 24 hours under any circumstances...lol. And I am a .45 guy all day long.

Has anyone heard of GT Distributors?

I think they give discounts to LEO and sell old service weapons at good prices.

They have a location close to Atlanta. Also have a website.
