Mass shooting of the week, high school in parkland, FL.

Guns don't kill people. People with guns kill people.

If you are a member of the NRA, the blood is on your hands. You are responsible for this. They have blocked common sense laws forever and by paying dues to them, you have made this a reality. You are responsible. Never forget that.

The only blood on anyone’s hands is the shooters.

Please lay out what some of these “comon sense” laws that would have prevented this, until you can STFU.

Lmao. Do we even know how this guy obtained the weapon?

So, every time someone kills someone with a hammer or gun or knife or bare hands or anything else, the blood is on the hands of everyone who uses or supports the use of vehicles, hammers, knives, and such? You should have your voting rights revoked.

The problem is and will always be people.

I have spent my last 30 years living / working less than a mile from this school. Our community has been rocked by the events today. Parkland / Coral Springs are known as some of the safest towns in the state of Florida.

My brother attended this school for 2 years and played on the football team where one of the victims, a coach who also works at the school as a security guard died protecting students died today.

My wife and I are in shock tonight and are holding our newest member of the family (our 2 month old son Jackson) a little tighter tonight. Families in my community won’t be able to do that with the 17 lives lost tragically today.

Please keep all the families in your thoughts and prayers.

Instead of offering "thoughts and prayers" just like the dozens of massacres before it, people need to demand action from their elected officials. It's the same cycle over and over...mentally deranged person with access to AR-15 shoots up school, people offer up "thoughts and prayers" while saying "now is the time not to discuss politics behind guns". Then things die down until Sandy Hook or Columbine or Va Tech or.....and the cycle repeats itself. This time was Parkland but next time maybe UTK...

This is the only country in the world where the screening to be a volunteer HS coach (which Ive been in the past) is more stringent than buying multiple AR-15s

When did school shootings start happening more frequently? In the 90's

When did hip hop start becoming mainstream popular? In the 90's.

Collusion confirmed.

Wrong. If you contribute to NRA. you are responsible.

There are plenty of common sense laws they prevent from passing, starting with banning assault rifles - much like Australia did with a buyback from owners. 90% of Americans agree with this, yet it doesn't happen. Why? The NRA.

That type of gun should be illegal and should have been illegal for years.

Trump just tweeted he called the Governor and "we" are working closely with local police on this.

He has to get SOME credit, doesn't he? What an f'ing complete douchebag he is. God, he cannot be ousted from office soon enough. Jerk.

Translation: As long as he is in office there will be no gun legislation enacted that will allow me to make more money suing people for damages because their gun was stolen from them. The sooner we get a gun control lib in power, the richer I will be.

Pretty simple. LG's mantra on this is very long and the same message everytime.

I'm pretty sure you wouldn't understand what "common sense" is.

My question is this....

What is the most deadly and destructive weapon that this guy should have been able to easily and legally purchase? I'm curious what the answers will be.

I'm a lifetime member and I don't feel a speck of blood on my hands. Your statement is emotional, reactionary, and pretty generalized. The only reason that we aren't a country like Australia or GB or Canada for that matter is the NRA. The big difference between those countries and ours, we have a vindictive form of government that in the absence of a heavily armed populace would become tyrannical (or more so than it is) overnight. I'll keep my gun, NRA, and freedom thankyou. You have to question how the guy got into the school carrying an AR? Who was watching the front door?

This is just another indictment of the failure of mental health professionals and PC culture in the USA.

Everyone knew this dude was off his rocker well before this happened..

Can't single kids like this out because it's profiling and may hurt his feelings and embarrass what passes for their parents.

It is the most widely used weapon to assault innocent groups of people in public places.

So are knives, bats, clubs, cars, etc. considered assault weapons? If so, why aren't you complaining just as vehemently about those?

Yet, here's the elephant in the room question...

Those very same arms have been legal and available since the 1960s. But the school shooting phenomenon has only been on the rise since the 90s.

Why is it we had extremely limited school shootings until Democrats started trying to ban them?

You have only bolstered my argument. Tyrannical government takeover? Wow. Most folks don't subscribe to your conspiracy, thankfully.
