I have googled it every way I can find and the only definitions I could find are similar to what you linked. They all pertained to some form of transaction.

if this is a trap and becomes the sole focus of the investigation we have got to clear house with anyone part of this investigation. and thats not something I have said before. If Mueller has something, he has something and needs to be allowed to do his job. if he is depending on an entrapment case it will be the biggest slap in the face to our justice system that I can think of. worse than trump actually being a traitor. (shame on you/shame on me thing)

If Muller has something it should be easy for him to get a judge to issue a subpoena and have the SCOTUS back him up. If he can't get a subpoena that will stick, he has nothing and is angling for a perjury or lying charge.

Mike Pence was the head of the Trump presidential transition team, but his name is mysteriously missing from emails during that period.

Investigators on the House Intelligence Committee say they have looked over thousands of emails from the transition team but cannot find Pence’s name. The committee has been tasked with investigating the emails as part of its examination of Russia’s election interference.

Maybe he had a secret server?

Pence discloses paying leftover campaign funds to law firm handling emails

WASHINGTON — Vice President Mike Pence reported Wednesday paying more than $200,000 in leftover gubernatorial campaign funds to the Indianapolis law firm that is handling the release of his gubernatorial emails.

The expenditure was included in his campaign finance disclosure report for the second half of 2017 that was filed with the Indiana Secretary of State's Office.

Pence had been running for re-election as governor in 2016 when Donald Trump made him his running mate.

Pence's emails became a subject of controversy last year when IndyStar disclosed that he had used a personal AOL account to conduct state business, sometimes discussing sensitive security issues.

An email from March 2017 between the FBI and GSA -- months before Mueller was appointed -- suggests FBI investigators' interests at that time were narrower. Then the FBI asked GSA to consult with lawmakers before disposing of other transition documents.

The more expansive request came when an agent in the FBI's counterintelligence division emailed the deputy general counsel at GSA to preserve documents, electronics and communications from the Trump transition team, according to documents CNN obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request.

Trump should take a page from the Obama playbook.
Obama’s birth certificate could have been released but was withheld to keep the crazies crying and looking crazy. Trump should definitely not testify to keep the crazies looking crazy.

The irony can be lost on no one. Trump was the loudest of the crazies incessantly trying to deligitamize Obama's presidency by some nonsensical birther conspiracy. He joined hands with Fox and they used the media to harm Obama.

If Trump refuses to meet and be interviewed, then fights a subpoena, I don't think in the end it's going to be the anti Trump forces that lose out, politically.

Of course they harmed him. Look no further than all of the propagandized Fox based opinions on this board.

Look no further than Trump's election. Many have said Trump is the public's response to 8 years of Obama. Those Trump voters were all effected by the right wing media's non-stop efforts to portray Obama in the worst possible light (same with Clinton). The MSM has never been remotely as slanted and biased as the right wing media.
