If Barnett hadn't got the fumble, then Brady would have tied the game. No doubt.. And that announcer drove me bonkers with wanting to call back ever touchdown Philly made.
Foles has one year left at Philly on his contract and he is 29. Wentz is their future. I think they both stay unless a team like the Jags offer Philly something good for him. If I was GM of the Jags, I would be on the horn to make that deal. If the Jags had Foles, they would have easily beat the Pats in the playoffs.
Philly is built to make a good, long run at the playoffs for awhile. What a great HC they have.
He's good, but he's nowhere near an elite qb. Anyone who pays him big money is making the Flacco error. Teams win championships, not QBs.
I agree, he is not elite. But a few million dollars more for a QB doesn't necessarily make them elite. There will be a team out there that needs a good solid QB to be their starter next year...and he was the starting QB for the Super Bowl Champs. He'll get a few milion extra because of it.
JMO :hi:

Colingsworth had to mention those "questionable" Eagles TD's after the game like they were even really questionable. He's just whining because his boyfriend Brady couldn't win another one.
I couldn't figure out how any of them were questionable. There is a point where they need to quit over analyzing every catch. If you need to look at it in super slow motion for 20 minutes (See Pig Howard) then it shouldn't be over turned.
