Did you hear that Scott is the new Seymour HC? Anticipate him becoming AD in a few years when Coach Householder retires.

Sorry just catching up, YES I had heard this. My old Wrestling Coach Darrel Lauderdale has kept us up to date there. We still talk almost daily. I'm related to all those Householders, too. Thanks for the info! :hi:

Same here. I don't need lectured about what and how to think by a bunch of weird, narcisstic professional fakers and musicians that are parrots of of other people's narratives and agendas. That's not entertainment to me.

Leads to a more boring, but lower blood pressure life.

What gets me is why do they think their opinion matters? How is an actor or musician or athlete (athalete as Doug Matthews says) any kind of authority in politics? You hit the nail on the head..... narcissistic.

Not only that, the news stations cover their opinions as if it is news. Why does Scarlett Johannson matter whatsoever? Who cares what she thinks?

I'll put this here since it involves multiple recruits.

With which of Tennessee’s targets and commitments has Tennessee gained momentum? And with whom have the Vols recently lost some ground?

STOCK RISING

OT Ryan Winkel, Memphis, Tenn.

Tennessee reached out last week to Winkel, a three-star prospect from Memphis’ Christian Brothers High School, and didn’t wait long to join the race for him. The Vols extended a scholarship offer to him Friday going into his official visit to Mississippi State, and Tennessee immediately became a major factor with the Knoxville native, who played at Bearden High School before moving to Memphis less than two years ago. Mississippi State was believed to be the favorite going into Winkel’s visit with the Bulldogs, but the offer from Tennessee threw a bit of a wrench into his recruitment. With the Vols still searching for offensive-line help, he appears to be a legitimate possibility.

DE John Mincey, Homerville, Ga.

Mincey, a three-star prospect, decommitted from Arkansas less than two weeks ago and wasted little time planning official visits to Tennessee, South Carolina and Florida State. Tennessee appeared to be the team to beat going into his visit with the Vols over the weekend, and they only impressed him more during his trip to Knoxville. Mincey already is familiar with multiple coaches on Tennessee’s new staff, including defensive coordinator Kevin Sherrer, and Pruitt made a strong first impression on him. Tennessee still is searching for pass-rushing help, and Mincey appears to be one of the Vols’ most realistic options, although he’s still planning to visit the Gamecocks and Seminoles

DT Otito Ogbonnia, Katy, Texas

Ogbonnia, a three-star prospect, received an offer from Tennessee on Jan. 2 as the Vols continued their search for additional help on the defensive line, and they now have emerged as legitimate contenders for him. He’s scheduled to take an official visit to Tennessee this weekend, and it’s a big opportunity for the Vols to become more of a factor going into the final weeks of his recruitment. Some expect the 6-foot-4, 290-pound Ogbonnia to stay in the Lone Star State, with Texas A&M and Texas Tech both still being in play. He also went on an official visit to Ole Miss in November. But Tennessee could give him something to consider during his upcoming trip to Knoxville.

STOCK HOLDING

CB Eddie Smith, Slidell, La.

STOCK FALLING

DE Malik Langham, Huntsville, Ala.

Don’t get the wrong idea: Tennessee isn’t out of the race for Langham, a Top247 prospect who already has visited the Vols multiple times. But Alabama already was thought to be the favorite to land him going into his official visit with the Crimson Tide over the weekend, and he admitted after the visit that Alabama is the team to beat. Tennessee sent defensive line coach Tracy Rocker to see Langham on Monday, hoping to halt Alabama’s momentum, and Langham still is scheduled to return to Knoxville next weekend on his final official visit. But Alabama doesn’t miss on many in-state targets it wants, and the Crimson Tide are in the driver’s seat with signing day approaching.

Any suggestions as to how I can get my neighbor's dogs to stop barking when we are outside? I've tried talking to the owner, to no avail, and I really don't feel like getting the police to come out.

I don't want to be inhumane about it, but we can't even take our kids outside. They've got three medium sized dogs that go absolutely apesh!t when they see anything (even if we just pull in our garage, they go nuts).

Dude, I'm dealing with a similar problem.

Dog up the street barks non stop at night. I'm really not sure which house it comes from cause it's really not that close to me. I can't believe someone who lives closer to them hasn't shot this dog.

I have dogs on all three sides of me, and they all bark. I have decided to get a tiger.:hi:

Only reasonable option is to move imo

Dealing with the same issue.

Our backyard is beautiful. Hammock, hot tub and palm trees. It’s where I go to read and paint. 8 months ago my neighbor adopted a full grown a German Shepard. It barks at anything, tries do dig under my fence. I keep having to fill holes under my fence and mulch. They don’t clean up his crap and we can’t even sit in the hammock that is back underneath the back line of trees because it’s trying to bark you away and won’t stop.

I had a polite talk with my neighbor. She is a single executive, doesn’t spend any time with this poor dog. She acted very apologetic and does try when she is home to peak her head outside and stop the dog from barking when she hears it. She also started to bring the dog inside the garage at night and put it in the cage so that helped out a lot.

It still suck though we can’t go outside without smelling **** and hearing it bark nonstop.

I seriously considered just opening the gate one night and letting it take a long walk and hopeful never finding its way back.

Had same problem. Try giving a few rawhide or small treats everytime u go out. They will begin to see u as a good thing.

My neighbors dog is 90 pounds of barking vicious and after about a month of throwing treats from a safe distance, to eventually handing him rawhide sticks, we are now buddies.

Folks I’m headed to Atlanta tomorrow with the wifey. Need a good recommendation for a cool dinner date. We’ve had Superica, Antico’s pizza, and Taqueria Del Sol. No major tourist traps please.

Particularly Buckhead and west, don’t want to venture too Far East of town or downtown.

That's the advise right there.

Call Wade Blasingame, Esq. Or his brother, Doug. Google if you need the number.

We went to Mary Mac's Tea Room one time...it was pretty dang good country cooking.

Edit: It's not going to be high on the "cool" factor, but, like I said, the food is pretty dang good. Also, it's mid town, so not sure if that fits into the geographic bounds that you stipulated.
